Best GGTB Setup ?

Hi All,

I'm thinking about getting a GGTB for when I travel rather than taking my GGTS with me.

But I have a couple of question before I make the purchase so I hope you can all help.

Firstly I'm interested in safety so I wonder if the fuse option used in the TS would also work in the TB?

I'm also looking at getting a set of the safest batteries I can which I can use in both units, so I wondered what everyones thoughts were. I normally vape at 6 volts but I'm also thinking of trying 3.7 with an LR arty.

I've been using an AFS v2 with my TS so I'm a bit spoilt when it comes to constant vape levels.
However I was thinking about try cartomisers with the TB only I've no expensive with them at all, so I hoped there maybe a few suggestions about this as well.

with the ggts i am liking 3.7 with a lr atty more and more over the 6.4v on a reg atty. almost same vapor production but its easy to burn juice at 6.4v.

maybe try some 14500 IMR high drains?

before you buy wait for some other repsonses, im no battery expert by far nor do i own a ggtb. i did read the description of the ggtb and it seems that is the biggest bat for it but i could be wrong. i use 18650's in my ggts

fuse can be used on GGTB but only when you use 1x14500 and maybe when you use 1xcr123 battery Jet. It has no telescopic function for all batteries but its telescopic battery will help you with those batteries that I just told you.

The biggest battery you can fit in a GGTB is a 17670. Mind you, not all 17670's fit. I've got a pair of cheap Spiderfire 17670's which fit. I don't use them though, i only use LIMN batteries.
The biggest LIMN i have found for the GGTB are 17500 and 14650. 17500 needs the big part of the telescope fitted.
I use CE2 clearomizers or a MAP-tank-type. For me, the CE2's are fine on 3.7volts, and dont need anything higher. I've tried them on 5volts, but that just gives a burnt taste.

I use a AW17670 and when that needs a charge, a 16340 ICR123 + the TB suits me fine, and I always use a cisco 306 on it with an adapter, sometimes 2.0, sometimes 1.5, mattering on the juice!

I do the cisco 306/adapter setup myself (and it really does matter on the jooce!), I have some blue BDL brand IMR 17650 1350mah batts which fit perfectly in the GGTB and work great... Love the AW's as well!

BTW- the fuse option will indeed work on the GGTB.

I use 17670's with LR901's in mine, plus a drip shield - the perfect set up for me.

I am really loving the GGTB w/A2 atomizer. It holds a LOT of ejuice. It's configured at 1.9 ohms; but I like it up to 2.4 ohms as well. To me it's better than cartos...but that's just my opinion.

I keep waiting for the Fog to hit COV. That will be sweet with the GGTB.

I don't think the fog will fit the GGTB,my fog wouldn't work on my GGTB,the GG is a 901 connection,the fog is a 510.
I do believe the fog will work on the GG slim,I use it on my eGo batteries.

EDIT-the fog ain't a 510,the collar is threaded to fit the cone threads on the eGo,with a contact point on the atomiser connection.

I think the GGTB is now available with the 510 cap. I hope COV will have just the caps available.

BTW Anyone try to connect FOG to GGTS?

I did - I made a pretty crappy adapter to connect 901 devices to cone threaded tanks/atomisers:
