Just got a new darwin. Figured I should ask here before I spend a bunch trying to find a good HV atty. I have enough lr and regular atties to last me but I heard HV last a bit longer. AvidVapor has HV atties but they aren't the Cisco ones right? Are IkanVapes HV atties good? Any other good ones. I would appreciate the help thanks. :)

Gratz on the Darwin!
Welcome to the land of the Pixies (What many Darwinians are now calling the power setting) ;)

I just tried a couple of 801s for the first time over the past 4 days or so.
DSE models I found in closeout bins for five bucks each....
4.5ish ohms...

I wish I'd tried these long ago!

They use massive carts that vape smoothly out of the box and also are good drippers. Because they are rather large and deep (more like mega 510 size) the vape is cooler unless you really crank them up, but wow at the flavor and amount of vape. These carts out of the box rival many of the better cartos I've tried and hold a decent amount of juice. Easy to drip in without messes as these are pretty well sealed off from overdripping issues. Draw on an 801 is a bit tighter than a 510 or 901, but nice I think. They do require an adaptor or two with a Darwin. I go from 510>901/808 and then from 901>801. 801 drip tips are also larger than 510/901.

I've always liked DSE 901 atties as well for dripping (also in lots of bargin bins here lately). To me they're dang near as good as the fancy custom stuff out there in terms of taste and vape. How long they last varies (well, I've yet to pop an HV one as I'm pretty new to HV, but I did go through my share of LR ones). Superb flavor dripping. 901 carts are really small and to me vape kind of dry without modding them. They're close enough to 510 that if you wanna use 510 carts with it you probably can (and vice verse). These will take the same drip tips as 510 stuff.

Good stuff for the money!

I got my first Cisco 510 but haven't tried it yet......still in love with the 801s for now :)

Sure, link added in original post, just click 'closeout bin'
I get my custom stuff from Nhaler or Inkenvape...
I still haven't tried the custom stuff from Nhaler (Cisco) yet (recent purchases)....but they can be up to $6 more each! Maybe it's worth it...I dunno yet, but I thought you might be interested in those bargin bin HV atties. Definately worth a fiver a piece I think :)

3.5ohm Iken HV-510's are buy far the best 510 HV Atty I have used to date and haven't found a better on the market as of yet and I've tried them all that I know of. There is something about how these are made that they just run smooth and they don't give off that scratchy metallic taste feeling in the throat that the others do, I mean you can get a bad hit at HV if you don't have the right amount of liquid in any Atty and its a bit of learning with a bottom feeder using them until you get it but once there this Iken HV is in the forefront of HV Attys, I have vaped them from as low as 5v to as high as 7.4v successfully with 6v being the sweet spot on my VV Bottom feeders and I also use them on my Reo Grand's, woodvill, phidias, Provari, I only use LR'S on Ego/Riva's anymore.

avideditor = I suggest you buy these and get enough of them to hold you over for a while, I usually buy and have many in my arsenal myself since there my go too's and I don't want to run out I also suggest that you use the contact me know box on Issac's website and check the contact me box so when Issac re-stocks you are contacted, I'm sure there gonna be in stock with in the next week or so I would think.

Worried about the Ω number. It seems some HV atties have almost double that. Does that make a big difference?
I did the contact Ikan they said they will be available in a week :)
I was going to try two of the 510s, 306s, 801s, and 901s. I hear that each threading draws differently. It would be nice to try them all. The have decently priced adapters at 2.50 right? Don't think I am going to do a 5 pack this time. Am I wrong not to? I figured best to find the style i like the best. It looks like I can save shipping and just try them all at Ikan. Should I research to find other places?
Every atty but the 801s. Work with the drip shield. It seems like people really like the 801s. Are they worth trying? I have to probably get a Gooseneck to try them.
Anyways thanks for all the help. HV vaping is great but it is expensive and a whole new can of worms to learn about. I think it is worth it.

You don't need a gooseneck to use an 801 on a Darwin
Just the proper adapter. Most of the 801 adapters I've seen are kind of long...so it'll get you some distance from the Darwin arm....Mine will even flip all the way off/closed fine without rubbing or anything.

The main reason I've enjoyed the 801 is because it's one of the few atties I like with the cartridge. Maybe I got lucky, but the HV ones I got have been really sweet, as good or better than alot of the cartomizers out there, last a while before I have to refill them, and not too distant flavor/TH from dripping on the same atty.

With custom stuff like Inkenvape, 510 or 901 is gonna be really good and quite similar in terms of vape/flavor. For off the shelf stuff...I've liked the 901 better. Just me....

I still haven't tried a 306 yet. If the exposed bridge is the only real difference.........I'm happy with a regular 510 and don't have to get yet another drip tip to use it :)
