I have been in the ecig arena since the beginning but I have never tried the 808 setup before and I was looking at a question to the Vets last week and was interested in what someone had to say about them. I am trying to get people to switch to ecigs all the time and there are some kits that I do not feel comfortable about trying to get people to try their first time out. I thought it was going to be the new ego-t but now after selling some I am not really sold on everything about them.
I hear a standard KR808D-1 with a good cart is very pleasing but I have yet to try one. I would like to recommend and possibly sell a good 808 setup to new aspiring vapers around me.

My major question is what manufacturer is one of the best to purchase or get in bulk? I want to give someone an enjoyable experience without breaking their bank. Most do not like the ones I am using because they have not gotten the bug like most of us. I make mods and purchase news ones all the time but I know new people are not looking for that. They want to spend minimal before making the plunge.

Because of its good 3.7V, relatively high mAh, automatic battery - and ready availability of many different flavored, prefilled cartomizers - the Kr8 is indeed an excellent choice for a newbie. It is simple, convenient, and...[wait for it!]...looks like a cigarette! The advantages of the eGo-type models (e.g., fatter batt gives higher mAh and millions of choices in attys/cartos/tanks/accessories) are disadvantages for many (most?) newbies, who want KISS.

I don't order directly from manufacturers. If you can find out who manufactures the Bloog Maxx Fusion (which I reviewed earlier this year), Halo G6, or Smokeless Image VOLT, order them there. Those three are outstanding and virtually identical (and I wouldn't be surprised if they are made by the same factory in China). I've listed them in descending order of supplier price. Two different sizes: the 220 mAh 65mm battery with cartomizer yields a 103mm "super-mini" e-cig; the 320 mAh 78mm batt yields a 116mm "mini" e-cig.

My personal favorite Kr8-compatible e-cig these days is CigEasy's Elite 808 (which I recently reviewed). Both the battery and cartomizers are slightly larger than those minis/super-minis above, but the main reasons I don't necessarily recommend it for your purpose are its manual battery and that there are no prefilled cartomizers for it. [Although you certainly can use the prefilled cartos sold by the aforementioned or any other Kr8 suppliers.]

Cool. I appreciate the info. I think you were the one that I was reading when I was looking at the other question. I can find most other setups through manufactures. The 808 seems to be the hard one. Looks like most of the china based companies consider these to be disposable systems for some reason. I am guessing because of the pre-filled carts they like to sell with them. I will dig around a little more and see what I can find.
