Best Maple Flavoring

Hi All,

The first e-cig kit I ordered came with a 30ml free bottle of e-liquid, just by chance I picked one called American Standard. It had this great maple flavor. I got a second bottle from the same vendor and it was great too, the next one I ordered tasted way different, really weird perfume smell. I ordered a maple flavor from another vendor, same thing. I let them steep over two weeks and they still were bad. I've been trying to find some flavoring that will have a great maple syrup flavor and was hoping you all could help me out. I got a bottle of maple flavor made by TFA, mixed up a small 10ml batch and have it steeping now, it doesn't really smell like maple at the moment, more like alcohol but I'm hoping that will go away after shaking the bottle every day and letting it steep. Anyone out there have any luck making a maple flavor? There has to be some Canadians out there that can help me out Take care all and thanks.

Now, I know it exists somewhere as I sampled some at a con. I have a bottle of TFA maple and sweetener I just got today, and letting it steep now.

Thanks Gorvi for the reply, I will also let you know how mine tunes out. I used the same maple in my batch and a little sweetener also.

Did a speed steep on it, taste really crappy, just like the last two juices I got from vendors. I think I need to try a different maple than TFA. It has a real weird perfume taste and is nothing like maple at all.

Same here. Tastes chemical to me. I will try to dilute it from 10% flavor down to 2-5 percentish, but looks like TFA maple is better for accenting and not for a main vape :/

What percentage did you mix it...and with what percentage PG to VG ?

I am at 50/50 with 15% flavor. Steeping some now at 2% and will up it from there. Wish me luck

Nope, I haven't. Is that something that would cool do to do. I do have some real maple syrup, and not the HFCS stuff the stores sell but I don't know if the real thing would be safe.

Vapor Room has a french toast juice with a very thick and sweet maple syrup element that I would LOVE to replicate. I am intrigued to know what happens when you put actual syrup in the juice

Thanks for the info, I'm worried I might get a case of waffle brain worst than I already have using real syrup. I don't like the flavor of TFA's maple, it's just as you described.The search continues!

Does it taste like Maple too? Maybe this is something I can try to do, try to get as close to maple with other flavors. I'm going to search around for other companies that sell maple/maple syrup flavor and give them a try.

Maybe if I could separate any natural sugars and impurities, I would be tempted to try.

After searching the forum for "maple" I found a few posts about members opinions on e-liquid to try. I found one that members said had a good maple syrup flavor and was sweet. I ordered a 3 ml sample and several single bottles of flavor enough for 30ml each. I'll let you all know how it turns out.

That's probably Capella Caramel. It smells strongly like maple syrup but doesn't really taste like it.

Anyone try the Capella or FA Maple?

I haven't yet, the stuff I ordered is coming from Vemont Vapers. I did try TFA and it wasn't to my liking.

Hi all, just an update on the flavor I received. It's from Vermont vapor and is called sugarhouse. Now you have to remember here that taste is subjective. I get nothing, it's not bad or perfume like at all which is a good thing. But I don't get a lot of maple. I even double the flavor and it's still not coming through for me. I was testing it with a decent 510 atty. I was told no steeping should be needed and I shuold taste the maple right away, ever more so with a double shot of it. I have to say, one of the owners did call me when I ordered this and we talked a bit, and she did suggest I get the maple flavoring they sell but I didn't take her up on the offer at the time opting for the sugarhouse, as the description was "like maple syrup from the sugarhouse" and that's what I'm looking for. Now I have to say that my taste buds have burnt out on some flavors so your mileage may vary. I've placed an order for the maple flavor and will give an update once I give it a shot. I can always add my own sweetness with some ethyl maltol and use a high VG to add some too. Take care all.

Ok, The stuff from Vermont vapor is fine, it's not like the nasty TFA maple, no bad chemical smell, I also got 4 oz flavor from http://www.diyflavorshack.com/default.asp for 20 bucks and it's also not nasty like TFA. Right now I have a really bad case of vaper tongue so the flavors are not really coming through for me, so your mileage may vary! Good luck all.
