JAPANESE ORGANIC COTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it, and the reason it is SO popular is because unlike American growers, when the Japanese SAY organic, they MEAN organic, no disgusting chemicals or ANYTHING unnatural is even ALLOWED to be certified as truly organic over there, they take it VERY seriously...I think I have a new OBSESSION with capitol letters, so, everyone please excuse me

This will be hotly debated, but i'm a huge fan of the koh gen do, or other organic japanese cotton. Easy to work with, works very well, and is relatively cheap. I have a huge box of rayon, but i just never felt confident using it. Likely is all in my head, but it is what it is.

I've been a long time cotton user... common organic cotton from CVS, tried the Japanese cotton and loved it. I just very recently tried Rayon and I'm seriously loving the stuff! It's not exactly the easiest stuff to work with, but the "clean" flavor I get from my juice now made me a convert.

T.J. Bailey, PM me if you need to rid yourself of the Rayon...

Pretty fond of KGD cotton myself... but I've been experimenting with readyXwick. I can see how folks sing the praises of the readyX with certain builds.

Best is going to depend a lot on how you build your coils. The nice thing about cotton and rayon is that you can use the amount you need for the coil you build whereas with readyXwick you need to build your coils to comply with what works best with the wick... In fact, I'll say the same thing about silica. With silica, you need to build coil size for what works best with the wick and not the other way around. I am not now nor have I ever been a fan of silica, but a lot of folks use it because it's readily available and does work.

The nice thing about readyXwick is that you really can't damage it with coil heat. My experience so far is that my coils will get pitted up and worn out long before the wick is shot. You won't be re-wicking with readyX whereas with cotton and/or rayon, the first time you forget to keep it wet and get a big dry hit is the last vape you get before you replace your wick.

I just got some organic Japanese cotton to plug into my RDA. After the first hit, it settles in VERY nicely. I have a wee bit of rayon (which I haven't used for awhile) and my normal cotton that I use mostly for my PT2s. My B&M guy (who sold me the the 5-pack) actually recommended the shiseido that I could get at Macy's for relatively cheap.

I vape flavored NET exclusively (in case that matters), and have tried Organic cotton balls, silica, organic Japanese cotton pads and Rayon. For my taste, organic Japanese cotton pads are definitely the best followed by rayon. Silica was by far the worst flavor carrier.
It matters to some of us! ;)
I like the Japanese cotton too, it delivers the flavors well. I've recently just started using Rayon and I like the way it delivers the flavors "cleaner" instead of the "warmer" flavors from the cotton, if that makes sense...
But it's probably just the newness of it and is subject to change.:D
