Maxi pads...I know, i know BUT some are PROVEN to be 10 times MORE absorbent than their competitors!!! ULTIMATE WICKING POWER!!!
And some are 100% Rayon, others cotton! I can't confirm if it's 100% organic Japanese, and I'm not gonna be the first...

I wick rayon, Sally's cellucotton. I got some stainless steel mesh in the other day, just to experiment with. Promising so far, but it's going to take some time to learn it. I'd like to get some medical rayon balls next.
Rayon here, mostly because I have a lifetime supply. Though seriously it doesn't have a taste like cotton does.

Both the rayon and KGD have great saturation but I give the slight edge to KGD because it is so easy to wick. I have readyxwick to try as soon as I get off my you know what and build a new coil. Heard lots of great things about that. The next KGD type wicking I will be buy was suggested by a friend. Just thought I'd pass it along in case any one is intereted.

I use rayon exclusively. I find it to be the best wicking material of all. It's clean, pure and easy to work with. It sucks up the juice and transports it to the coil like tree roots to a tree trunk. I can't imagine any wick better than rayon.

Cleaner flavor, wicks all day (even with extreme temperature changes) and is relatively easy to work with once you learn the basics.
I still use the Japanese cotton sheets for my drippers, but all of my RTAs are wicked with rayon/cellucotton. For me, rayon wick is the best wick.

Have you tried the readyxwick? Just wondering. I have some and will try it on my next build.
Bearing in mind efficacy and my vape preferences, the winner between cotton (organic and Japanese) and rayon is rayon for me. I'm still dialing it in, but my best rayon wickjob is simply amazing with how well it wicks. KGD isn't that far behind, but there's that whole cotton taste thing going on. I prefer the flavor delivery of rayon. The whole flavor and nothing but the flavor. Unless you over stuff it, then it's a bit nutty. But, that's user error.
KGD will wick like a dog with its tail on fire, but when vaping the same juice out of the same builds and the only difference is wick material, I go with rayon's flavor.
LIfe's too short and wick is too cheap to not have a go for yourself. If you don't want to commit to a box of rayon, I'm sure that one of us would be more than happy to stuff some in a baggy and stuff it in an envelope headed your way.
