Pick any one and someone will say it is the best. There is only a best for you (my best changes from day to day depending on my mood). If you want it to stay shiny with a minimum of care then you want stainless steel and if you want it to develop a nice patina you want brass.

Your best bet is to pick things you like and ask which one meets that criteria. There is no perfect mod. You might want the conductivity of copper and the ease of care of stainless steel. There is no way to get both.

I have a nemesis and stingray clone and I like the button on the stingray better, I found a clone (can't remember which one) that is even better, and the button on a real mod feels like silk. So the real mod has the best button. However, the stingray cost me under $30 and a real mod can cost over $300 so the clone might be the best value. I did a patina on my stingray and the shallow engraving was, as far as I was concerned, a plus over the deeper engraving of a real stingray.

Well yeah, Reo of course.

I have been looking at getting something else in addition to my four, because I have all these drippers laying around.

I'm interested in this topic, I'm looking to spend under $100 non-telescopic. Doesn't matter the material. I had a Nemesis that I didn't like, looking for something with a better button.

I recently got one of these https://www.fasttech.com/p/1677404, so far it's working out great, much better button than the Nemi clone I have. Quite a lot better than one would expect for the price.

Right now, I'm enjoying my stingray stainless silver. I have an Igo-W5 on top of it....and honestly, EVERYTHING else has been put away, because nothing else gets used anymore.

I carry my stingray clone, and magneto clone everywhere I go....and the three delivery devices I use are an igo-w5, stillare rda, and ehpro kayfun lite plus. That is literally ALL I need...and I've gone through SO many devices and delivery mods. Happy though, because it all lead me here :)

I have a nemesis clone and upgraded the button to magnets and no spring,it works fine if u like tube mods,What did u find wrong with its button.

Well, it was wonky. It didn't push in straight and sometimes I had to try 2-3 times for it to fire. I am pretty sure that it was user error, as I have read a lot of good things about it, but I would like a mod that is impossible to fail. Like I said, the brass pin kept on falling out, so it's probably user error. I messed around with it a lot for about a month, but now it is in a landfill in Turkey. :)

I might look into the paps, but I am also thinking about going with side fire. Or just stick with my Reos and use one for my regular drippers.

Infinite Black copper or red copper stingray clones have the lowest voltage drop even against high priced authentic mechs. The copper nemesis should be around the same but I went with the stingray because it's a little shorter, and I like black instead of all copper. Also comes with magnets instead of springs already.

The worst I've tried is an astro clone. I got it because it's one of the shortest mech mods but has way too much voltage drop, and another indicator is if you go below .4 the firing button gets super hot.

I use a stillare and tobh rdas and I love it.

I got this 'vela a week or two ago on a whim, and it is nice. The brass has a clear coat so it's going to maintain that brushed/slightly antiqued look, but the threads feel raw so I doubt the voltage drop would be unholy. It's really straightforward (duh, it's a 'vela) and simple and nothing revolutionary, but it's definitely going to take a seat beside my slew of k100/101s as a beater mod.

I'm talking voltage drops. The best would be the one that hits the hardest and has the best connection....lol

RJmod CATs and MVP 2.0

The best connection would be a hybrid - pin goes directly from the battery to the post in the dripper with no 510 connection to mess with. I've been eyeing Beyond Vape's Neptune for just that reason.
