hi everyone, I have been using the nautilus mini for two years or so now, just curious if there is any better mini tanks out there for flavor , with the atomizer in the 1.5-1.8 range?

I have tried sub ohming a few times and quit each time, direct lung hits don't give me the taste I want.. is that normal? I hear of everyone talking about how sub ohming gives the best flavor..

Nautilus Mini is one of the better MTL tanks available. Some will argue that the House of Hybrid's Kabuki tank is better (uses the same Aspire drop in BVC coils as the Nautilus Mini), but its a $100 tank. There are clones of the Kabuki available and mine seems to work very well, but I've not been able to compare it with the authentic version or against a Nautilus. Speaking for myself, I like the look of the Kabuki better than the Nautilus.

You also may look into the Nautilus X. (See review below)

If you can install and wick a pre-wound coil (easy to do actually and they're very cheap to buy), and/or make your own coils, install, & wick them (also pretty easy and inexpensive to make)...my handsdown alltime favorite is the Berserker MTL RTA 22mm Mini. The vapor is super smooth and extremely flavorful, the deck is easy to install a coil on and wick it, it comes with a steel tank section + a glass one + an Ultem plastic one! So you can get 3 looks with just 1 tank!

ETA: It also comes in 4 colors: Stainless Steel, Black, a gorgeous Gold, and a very pretty Rainbow! Holds 2mL, and those last a remarkable long time, even though I'm a chain vaper.

Fasttech has by far the cheapest price on the Authentic Vandy Vape Berserker Minis. They're regularly $44.99, but if you use the code MAP in your shopping cart...it drops it to $26+ change for the SS, and $27+ change for the colors. Just use the dropdown box over at the right on the page...to choose and see each different color.

$44.99 Authentic Vandy Vape Berserker Mini MTL RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2ml capacity / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The 2 pics they show of it laying down, distort the actual length of it. The big, main pic shows it as it really is.

Can you get 1.6 ohm coils for the aspire triton? It looks really cool! Are any of these top filled?

And I can use my hello kitty drip tip with all these suggested tanks? Lol :w00t:

There are certainly good other flavor MTL tanks. A lot will depend on what you are looking for. I agree the Kabuki (and I have a couple) is probably the best flavor tank for the Bvc coils although the Ijoy Elf also accepts them and is a nice, easy to use topfill tank that fixes many of the Nautilus 2 problems.

If you want to branch out to other tanks and coil types, the Ego Mega One V2 is a good tank (comes in 2 or 4 ml versions) but you have to get the right coil for it. The coil is Joytech's CLR coil, it comes in 1.0 or 0.5 resistances. Great MTL flavor the coils last a long time, and can fairly easily be rewicked or even recoiled if needed. The Tron-S also accepts this coil.

I find the Innoken Zenith to be a good tank, it is 4 ml also and has proprietary coils and they do last a long time (comes in 0.8 or 1.6 resistance) and it's just an all around, solid, well designed tank. IT's 24 mm wide, so you need a mod that would accept that size and etc., but it has one of the best topfill systems out there, IMO. I'm imagining a 2 ml could probably be obtained given TPD, but I haven't run across one yet, and I'd imagine they shrank the diameter, although not all tanks do that to move to compliance but I guess you could check, if the idea appeals to you.

If you want to build, probably two of the easier to build tanks recently on the market are also great tanks at a decent price point (IMO) the Siren V2 (I have several, in both 2 and 4.5 ml configurations, and I like both, and they did a 22 mm version and a 24 mm version, so it's flexible. The Innokin Ares is a fantastic flavor tank as well, with slightly more adjustable airflow than the Siren V2. Well, it's not that you can't reduce airflow in the Siren V2, but I find it tends to run better with airflow wide open, your mileage may vary I guess. Otherwise, a Vandy vape berserker might be an option and there is a mini, 2 ml tank for it that is 22 mm, I believe, and the original can be run in either 2 or 4ish ml configuration, it's just wider than the 22 mm. Great flavor tank, pretty restricted draw, if you like that sort of thing. The doggy style (it's really mostly obtainable only as a clone without shelling out major funds and a wait since it's made in Europe somewhere I think, but fasttech carries clones for a reasonable price. Everyone seems to love this tank as a flavor tank, IMO it's a bit harder to build (for me, but I have a fine motor tremor). However, those folks that have them seem to just love the flavor and typically pick up several more.

Hope any of that was helpful and etc. :)

doggystyle 2k16 is ( imho ) the best mini tank for flavor & high ohm resistance. Its more of an mtl tank vape. And rebuidable

Its small, still 3.5ml capacity, tiny chamber, yeah its "high end"
( and the clone are kinda inferior in term of vape quality , tried thoses before buying the original, but if you go for a clone, better get the SJMY one, closer to the original compare to the SXK )

But the flavor are really great, its simple, since i bought it, i use nothing else ^^

Because I get that some people do not want to build...

I have a bunch of these

Aspire K1 Glassomizer

Decent flavor, drop in bvc coils, cheap, easy and leak free. I use 1.6 coils that last up to four weeks.

Also like the Nautilus x, 22 mm shouldn’t be too wide. Again no leakage. That’s a huge thing for me. I will sometimes use a leaky tank at home, if its other qualities are worth it, but they never leave the house, and I will not recommend them.

Aspire Nautilus X - Aspire® Official Site

These are bottom fill, but that’s not been an issue for me. In fact, that’s all I had until this last round of shinyitis.

I know that many people on this forum love Doggystyle tank and I am just exception but...

I have SXK Dogystyle (clone) and I think it is the worst overall tank particularly for beginner. Flavor is just OK nothing spectacular.... securing coil is big pain as coil legs slip out easily from holding screws when you try re position coil... because of very tiny deck it is hard to wick... you have to be very careful to not over stuff and coil is so close to post that it is risk to touching it and shorting. Refilling tank is also huge pain in a... not because it is bottom fill tank (I do not mind bottom filling) but because it is much harder to unscrew than any other tank I own... first you have to remove air flow ring and after you will do it you have to use some rubber or wrench to unscrew deck... draw is also very limited you will like it if you like to drink using very tiniest straw... it is extremely tight even when fully open... the only thing I like about this tank is its look.
