Reduce, I have an original and a clone, and IMO there is a significant difference in vape quality. The clones aren't BAD, but they offer nowhere near the flavor or vape quality than the original. For me, to get a satisfying vape I needed higher wattages (not sure what that was about) and the airflow is not as good.
I will also note that my clone got a coil stuck in the chimney, and things got really unfortunate when I tried to get it out, then replace it (after first just trying to screw in the coil the way it was... I wound up snapping a coil when trying to fix it, and unfortunately that caused a chunk to get stuck down inside the bottom of the shaft. I haven't been able to get it sorted out since, and I have tried multiple things. For 20 bucks, I'm not sweating it. I will say I vastly prefer the Vika Fantasy style clones (similar design to the Kabuki, better vape, as a clone, than the Kabuki clone (IMO) but again, airflow adjustment is a bit wonky, and still doesn't approach the flavor of the original. Plus, the original has a lifetime warranty except for the glass, I think, and that's a nice thing to have.
I'm really glad I got the original over the clone, it was my first "huge" vaping purchase, and I did buy another (on sale) over Halloween. There's no real comparison IMO, though the clone does offer benefits over the N2. It IS a better or at least comparable vape to the N2, but there is 3 ml capacity and the bottom fill is easier (IMO) than the topfill on the N2, which can cause leakage if overfilled. If I had to only use clones, I guess I would, but I don't regret my "big ticket" purchase at ALL. I got the newest version with more adjustable airflow so it will be interesting to see the differences....
That said, starting with a clone to see how you like the vape and how it's put together is not a bad idea IMO. I will say I've never had an N2 clone die, and my clone of the Kabuki is dead in the water at this point, it simply will not read....
