I'd stick with the Nautilus TSC coils. I've been using them daily since they came out at the beginning of December without any problems. I have not tried the Subtank nickel coils myself but I hear some folks have had trouble with them ...

Trouble understanding them more like. Most of the people complaining of "problems" in that thread actually have coils that are working fine.

Nautilus TSC and slow draw

I sometimes enjoy slow mouth draws (reduced airflow), which might lead to burnt and/or dry hits on standard heads. Is this a scenerio where TC really shines (ramp up quickly then maintain heat and vapor consistently)? How would you say does the TSC experience differ from standard Nautilus vaping? How quickly does the TC kick in at what temp setting and what's the average Wattage once it ihas kicked in on a slow draw?

Are they 100% cotton? Any leaking?

anyone coming out with Ti prebuilts?

I'm wondering if this will ever happen. I reckon if the evolv or yihi TC chips allowed to switch from Ni to Ti then it might happen. It would be easy to do - just a different calibration. Probs could even do it with a modification of the existing chip firmware...

I have both a Subtank mini and a Nautilus, and I was wondering which worked best. PV: Vaporshark rDNA 40 and a Vaporflask V2. Thanks!

PS:I'm getting a roll of nickel wire but the only thing good to build in is a Vertex. Nickel is a nono for the KFL+ and the Squape R

Nickel is all I use in my Squape R

They're already available at vaporshark's site
Nautilus Temperature Sensing Coil (5 Pack)

in their description they say they are only good with a device that has a dna40 board- is this true or just marketing crap? it does work with any temp control device(say an sx mini m class) not just a dna40 device- is it a scare tactic to get you to get their product or does it only work with a dna40 board. i have no intention of buying a dna40 device but will soon have a yihi board-it should work with no problems right? just want to make sure and not ruin a good mod or coil. just want to ease my concern before jumping in.....

It's an ni200 coil. It will work with the M Class. They probably haven't updated the description because when they released those coils the DNA 40 was the only legit temp sensing mod out.

This is their description for the new Atlantis coils.

Vapor Shark has collaborated with Aspire to bring the groundbreaking temperature limiting technology of the Vapor Shark rDNA 40 to the massively popular Atlantis tank. These replacement atomizer heads for the Atlantis tank feature coils wrapped from pure Nickel (NI-200) wire at 0.15 ohms, allowing you to monitor and limit the temperature your coils are reaching. Because these coils are only for use on devices capable of temperature sensing and limiting technology, we have changed the color of the silicone ring on the atomizer heads from clear to Vapor Shark blue for increased safety and ease of identification.
