There are no "official" Atlantis ni200 coils. The ones that people think are "official" are actually ones created/commissioned by Vaporshark (same thing with the Nautilus). That's why the packaging is Vaporshark packaging rather than Aspire. Only the Kanger Subtank OCC have "official" ni200 coils manufactured and sold by Kanger.

That being said, I haven't tried those coils. It is a good price though, being half what Vaporshark is charging for the Atlantis coils.

I am very tempted, what other options are there other than the vapor shark ones that have positive reviews?

I believe VS atlantis coils are made by aspire. I'll have to doublecheck on that.

Just ordered these ($9.97-$10.47 Smokme Subverter Mini 0.1 ohmSub Ohm Tank Clearomizer Replacement BODC Coil Head by SmokME (5pcs) - Silver) Mike vapes has a review of them up and they seem like the best out at the moment with those huge holes. Now I am kicking myself for not picking up a starre, might as well wait for the starre v2 at this point.
I guess they could work in my Melo? Maybe i could still find a use for a tank i wanted to throw in the trash as soon as i got it??

They should work great in the melo, all the tanks are very similar function wise so coil tech is what I am excited about. However, I shouldn't speak to soon because airflow, juice capacity, and top fill are still being improved.

P.S.= there is still no proper build deck for those tanks, right?

I'm surprised no one has said this....

Freemax is releasing nickel coils soon, as in the next week or two. 0.15ohm dual vertical and 0.25ohm single vertical nickel coils will be available.

They're also releasing a Pro version of their Freemax Starre, which IMO is the absolute best subohm tank for airflow, flavor, and vapor production. The Pro version adds top-filling to an already fantastic tank.

IMO only the Herakles compares with the Starre, but the Starre holds more juice, which is a good thing because nothing else drinks juice like the Starre and Herakles do. Chain vaping with 100% VG at 70W and this tank throws out clouds like the best RDA builds. You can run it up to 100W or even higher and never get a dry hit, and now with the addition of temperature control coils and top-filling it's just about as good as a subohm tank can possibly get.

Don't know what the nickel coils are going to cost yet, but their current Kanthal coils are very reasonable at $15 for a 5-pack, and the coils last a LONG time. My friend has one that I've tried and he's been using the same coil for a month and it still works like new. He says he's refilled the 5ml tank more than 50 times with the same coil, and it shows no signs of giving out anytime soon.

Why did you have to go and show me that!!! I love my Maganus, now they are adding Ni coils AND top filling? I have been using my Subtank Plus for the size, giving up quite a bit in flavor and clouds. When and where can I get the new Pro? Also agree about the Herakles, great tank! but 3ml just doesn't cut it.

Having nickel coils that can go up to 80 and 100 watts is pretty much overkill, since there are no temp control mods that go up that high. DNA40's only go up to 40 watts, Yihi chips only go up to 50 joules, and the evic-VT goes to 60 watts.

Definitely overkill, but ready for the next gen TC mods. That tank is pretty great, even at 20-30w. Just hope the new Ni coils are as effective as the current ones.

As soon as they are available I will pick up one or two. Had been contemplating getting one before.
