Best ni200 coils?

I make all my coils with a twisted nickel/kanthal. Temperature control works with it and the wire is easier to work with. Use it on my marquis rda, freakshow, kanger sub and my Kayfun 4. The key to nickel on the Kayfun 4 is to fill & adjust juice flow the device. If you adjust the juice flow on the mod, the ohms reading will be thrown off.
Wouldn't the kanthal act as a heat sink when twisting it with ni200?
I can't see this being an accurate temp reading with 2 completely different metals being used while the device is only calibrated for one to use in TC.
It does act as a bit of a heat sink, but not as much as you may think. Remember, best results come from using Kanthal that's thinner or the same thickness as the Ni200, and usually 30ga and up, so there's still not an excess of coil mass to deal with.
In my experience, it does tend to "smooth out" temps across the coil better than Ni200-only builds, even twisted Ni200 builds. Temps are still close enough to accurate to rely on, as long as you keep the correction factor in mind.
And frankly, even with regular nickel there's so many variables between builds, atomizers, mods and connectors that we're just ballparking, not getting ultra precise temps.

not true, as far as any testing has shown or reported. at least for dnas.

So I got the Atlantis coils in and they work great on my SX Mini but not as well on my Hana or Vlask IMO. On my Mini the base resistance is .159ohms and on the DNA 40s it goes down to .16ohm with after refinement from .20ohm. I have the temp set to 410F on both DNA40s and I cannot come remotely close to hitting temp even at 40watts. It's staying around 350F. On my Mini I have it set to 410F and I am able to hit temp at around 30J. The vape is much warmer on the Mini than the DNA40s. I prefer a warmer vape so right now, I prefer these coils on my SX MIni.
Crank the temps on the DNA40 devices, should get you closer to what you're getting out of the SX.
I have been using the RBA and the prebuilt NI200 coils in my Kanger Subtank Mini and have had a very reliable result on 2 coils so far. I switch out between both and also the RBA on the Delta II and enjoy them all. I just received the Lemo 2 and hope to get the best results yet from it once they complete the cleaning cycle in the ultrasonic bath.
So I have Smok GCT/VCT and VS Atlantis coils, both good so far. The smok coils tend to run high so there might be a long leg in there somewhere. but they work just fine. big vertical coil.
the gimlet is an excellent tank option IMO. i find the air control on the atlantis and subtanks to be too bipolar for my liking, the gimlet has four nice evenly sized inlets.

I can't. I can't even hit 410F at 40watts. I put it at 450F and still can't come remotely close.
Other vendors are carrying them also..Obviously Vaporshark is going to market them for the device they sell, which is DNA40 based
They will work fine in the SXmini M Class as well

I've noticed this too but I'm using them on a VCT Mega. Flipping from a Alien rda to Kayfun rta my settings usually stay the same but when attaching the VCT w/ ni200 coils I had to jump the temp and wattage up to get it to work properly. That said maybe its just the GCT coils but I'm not feeling them all to well but heck I got back into rebuilding RTAs when they were collecting dust before lol.
My nickel sub tank coil work amazing no problems what so ever, amazing flavor going on day 12 same coil.
go higher. the atlantis coils can be overpowered with 40w so there's no reason why you can't get a similar vape.
You did read what you quoted right? I can't go higher. At 40watts I am not coming close to the temp I have set. At 450F at 40watts I'm hovering around 400-420F. At 480F I still hovering around the same temp which isn't changing the vape.
I can't get the warm vape I enjoy using these coils on the DNA40 like I have been on the SX Mini. With the Kanger coils this isn't happening.
