Mvp is supposed to be pretty good. People on ecf seem to love it. Watching the Pbusardo review it seems to be a bit inaccurate with some settings at certain resistances. But it does seem to be a great mod for beginners with its long battery life and low price considering what it's packing...

I love vw. It's a set and forget got most of my builds.

I have a SiD and I'm happy with it. After batteries and a good quality charger (a must!) I payed 70usd.

I love my kayfun light plus clone. reviewers (mostly) seem to love the bcc aspire tanks, saying it's close to the Kayfun, but none of the hassle. Riptrippers had head qc issues. I haven't looked at the natalus, but isn't it like 30? That will cut into your device budget quite a bit...

If you're a beginner, I would recommend you spend less than $50 on a starter kit. It'll give you a very good idea of what is vaping. You're definitely going to out grow them anyway. I started with an eGo and those plastic iClear cartomizers. They are pretty good but I quickly outgrow them in a week. So go slow.

iTaste VV is pretty good for starters but aspire nautilus is a little pricey. It is also made of mainly glass hence easily breakable.

Thanks for all the answers and it sounds like the mvp2 is a good battery but people are really avoiding the tank part of the question...since the mvp2 looks like its about 50 bucks does that mean all these answers are assuming a $30 dollar nautilus? Or are you guys saying just toss any old tank on there and it'll be better than a nautilus with a $40 dollar battery?

The MVP2 comes WITH a tank. You can typically choose from 1 i30 or 2 x i16s. I chose the i16 option, and they lasted me long enough to actually quit smoking and start looking around for other ecig forms:). THAT's when you need a tank. If you want to buy a tank first, get a Nautilus then, but you don't need it:).

Good point. I run protank 2 minis and iclear 16s on my vv vw. You won't have any tipping over problems that I mentioned earlier. They are cheaper than the nautilus (16s far cheaper). I think they're pretty good, not as good as nautilus and they hold less juice. I have seen MVPs for as little as $40 and the nautilus for $28 so it's doable.

We're talking about newbies here... FIRST setup is my understanding. They aren't ready for which head is better, how to rebuild, best coil setup, best battery, VV/VW discussions, etc. They just want to quit smoking.

I'd stick with the MVP2 kit... comes with everything but juice and is cheap:).

Ok thanks everyone so much....it sounds like the mvp2 is much more popular than I realized and the aspire nautilus has been getting insanely high reviews from all over the internet so I'll deem the mvp2/aspire nautilus the go to choice for someone who lives in the category of the medium cheap and medium lazy and medium new vaper

To put some of your minds at ease lol I quit smoking a month or two ago and it doesnt even phase me now...I've been dripping diy juice on my Fin atomizers and Fin batteries for a couple weeks after using their refill cartomizers for awhile and other than the inconsistency, tediousness of dripping, and short battery life it's been ok

I have a $15 dollar vv starter kit and a $30 dollar vv starter kit coming in the mail....it sounds like the mvp2/nautilus combo will be my next upgrade thank you everyone for great input

Sorry glassgal I didnt mean to mislead you to think this was for people who still smoke....this is for vapers who dont want to spend more than $80 dollars and still get a pretty damn decent vape....vapers who are already in the game but using inferior products

The best way to look at it is the best "value vv" which seems to be the mvp2 like you agree....but still a partially upgraded choice for the head which seems to be the nautilus from what I've gathered from a decent handful of people so far

Pretty much sums it up. Only been vaping a bit over a month now. Used to be a pack a day or more guy. I still have the same pack I had the day I bought my first setup and switched. (had 19 cigs, down to 3, but haven't touched them in almost 2 weeks)

Started with an ego twist and vision spinner. That with tanks, liquids, and a couple extra attys cost just over $100. I vape quite a bit, so I always had one on the charger and one in use. Just picked up the MVP 2.0 yesterday. For $60 (more or less, bought mine from a local store here) it comes with everything you need. Mine came with the unit plus 2 iclear 16 tanks. Love the dual wick tanks! Wish I would have just done that initially, but honestly I wasn't sure I'd be able to make the switch form analogs that easily.

The battery on this is beast. Going on 2nd day now and still showing green on the charge. It's a great deal for the money IMO.

Oh, if you are intermediate, I'd get a mech mod and a RBA (any of the kayfun clones) :). Check out classifieds and coops for great deals:).
