hi. this is my first post and i am hoping for a bit of guidance. i have spent hours and hours researching sites, videos and blogs getting ready for my first ecig purchase. i basically have narrowed it down to 3 companies that i feel very comfortable purchasing from. rather than getting in to style, vape, battery life etc. i would like to pose my question a bit different to avoid alot of unnecessary answers. if joyetech ~ Aquavapor ~ Smokeless Image all carried the same exact cigarette that i would like to purchase, which would you suggest i go with? i fully realize that this most likely won't be my last purchase as i have discovered most people get different pvs for different times, places and moods. i guess i am really looking for customer service, speedy response, honoring their warranties, and solid reliability. in actuality i am looking @ 3 different models (Aquavapor ego-c mega battery starter kit, Smokeless image volt premium pkg and joyetech ego-c 1000mah usb starter kit) i suppose if 1 really stands out as the 'champ' i'd love to know but i just don't want to cloud up the question about service etc.. thanks guys!!!

I agree with Pappy.
Smokeless Image has a great reputation for quality and customer service.
Their X2 is the closest equivelent to the other two on you list. One advantage it has over the eGo's is that it is regulated to 3.6v while the Joytech eGo-C vapes at a lower voltage ( don't know much about the Aquavapor). The only disadvantage is that the Smokeless Image uses an 808 thread so that some tanks may not work with it.

I got my Joye eGo twist from a brick and mortar shop. Very pleased with the quality and function of them. The only one I've ordered online is this one. KGO kit1100mAh by SLB. It's not fancy but it does a good job. I carry both of them daily. Good life and with the spare battery I don't have to worry about it going dead. Also I might recomend a vivi nova. Just my opinion cause it sure helped me.

I've placed 4 orders from SI over my 7 weeks ecig history...all were shipped on the next day and arrived from OH to KS within 3 days...and all were accurate. Every question I have asked on the forum (down in the vendor section) was answered honestly and quickly. I have not had great success with their clear type cartos, but the basic stuff (bats and cartos) work great. Also their juices nothing special, but are acceptable. This is the only vendor I have any experience with...other than misc juice vendors.

I also got that kit from Hoosier. They're also a quality vendor.

Smokeless image was having some problems with a new ordering system but they seem to have cleared up.

I just got a super fast ship on an X2 and I love it.

Already had some SI clearomizers and my 808 batts. The X2 batt, and 808 cartomizers all work great together. But as far as I know thats the end of the line, anything else is 510 thread.

SI is reasonably priced but you can make it better with a good coupon code.

great stuff all! so is the 808 a real disadvantage? i believe i did read the 510 is most compatible with others but lifespan, batt charge and solid vape seemed to be its disadvantage. .

More 510 threaded stuff is available than for the 808 threaded things. Their quality of products are of equal if not better quality, tho. There's a few e-cig companies that seem to specialize in the 808 thread format, of which Smokeless Image is a part of that communtity. These companies tend to focus on the beginner and intermediate vapor, so they try to carry a full line of gear focused on that thread. You can alway get an 808 to 510 adaptor or 808 to ego adaptor for a few bucks to put one of those devices on a Volt X2.

The volt hardware is all high quality and some is built exclusive to their ideas. They will be coming out very soon with some exclusive new bottom feeder clearomizers. Their whole line of batteries are considered some of the better ones in their class on the market. Fast shipping and excellent customer service reputation.

wow, SI has won over quite a few due to their service. that's great.. think i am leaning in that direction. so to clarify, i could order their 'volt' kit and then purchase a couple x2 batteries and liquid, at the same time, and be good to go? i really want to make one purchase and not have to order anything for a couple weeks. i am a 2 pack a day smoker currently. now, about those coupons... anyone know of a good site for this? also, 1 more thing.. i did check out the SLB KGO Kit and i would love to hear from anyone else that has experience with it. the price is great! guys, i really appreciate all this help and info. amazing how many friendly vapers out there willing to help out a newbie!!! awesome!!

You'd be good to go with that. I still use my SI 78mm volts and the X2s while on the go. All of the products on SI work with each other, so you can use the same cartos etc. on the smaller batteries and the X2s. The X2s are 808 threaded, BUT because of where the cone screws on, they will accept MOST eGo threaded juice delivery things as well. Or you can find an 808/501 adapter for a couple bucks if you really want to be able to put 501 things on it. Coupon code SIVOLT50 gets you a discount 15% I think, and shipping on $55 or more is free.

puff, I've got the KGO kit and it has worked well. I bought it back in May and it's still going strong. It's a backup and travel unit for me as I primarily use my lavatube, Reo and Baby Bullet when I'm at home or the office. But I travel a lot, and the KGO is great for taking on the road. I've never used the SI X2, but I think the KGO is essentially the same thing except that it uses a 510 connection whereas the X2 uses the 808 connection.

hi tnt56, well i have decided to go with the kgo kit after a few hours of further searching. i had a question as to a 'pass through' for this product. i didn't see one on the hoosier site. will any 510 passthrough work on the kgo? i plan to go to provape or joyetech once i get myself more acclimated to the vaping world. thanks for your help!

Hoosier is a quality vendor and that Kgo kit is good. I got one a ways back and was (still am) happy with the product and their customer service.

If I had to do it over again though, I'd go with a Twist kit rather than a Kgo kit. For just a few bucks more the added ability to have variable voltage presents a better value to me.
