Just went through this myself!

Received my ecig yesterday and I went with the kr808 from Vapor Kings and I am happy so far.

I got the kr808 starter kit, a personal charging case, and 10 cartomizers for around $70. More than I wanted to spend, but well worth the investment.

I was having a VERY hard time trying to decide between the 510 from Cignot or the 808 and I finally decided on the 808 because of what I got in the starter kit, color, battery life, and ease of use for a noobie.

You just have to look at the options and find what you think will fit YOUR lifestyle and smoking habits....

I agree totally, but went with the 510. Either one is very good, both have advantages over the other, both have weaknesses compared to the other, both are great PVs, all round.

Beedub, pick one and dive in. They all have learning curves. Might as well vape while you learn, and really, PV kits are cheap compared to analogs over a month. Just jump in. I would recommend one of these two for a new vaper. Your experience with NJoy is on par with the other reports about it. Oh, well, live and learn. Great vaping is soon coming to your door! :)

Thank you guys so much for all of the love/replies! I'm in college right now, and its funny to see reactions of people when I vape in front of them. I think I'll stay with my NPro and drip right now since I'm low on cash.. but that 510 nobox kit from Cignot is going to be my next purchase. Would it be worth my time to purchase an adapter for my current atomizer for the 510 batts? I really like the throat hit I'm getting off of my NPro, but the batteries seem to be pretty crappy.

Not a menthol man myself, that info is certainly here with a little searching. try searching "menthol"...you'll find lots of hits, mostly likely.

As far as TH, you may actually find the 510 delivers a better one than the NPro. Not familiar with NPro, but the 510 is known for this, and I know mine packs quite a wack when I want it to. The starter kit will do you well, but most people also with that get a PCC charging case for on the go (~$24) and a USB passthrough (PT, ~$15) for vaping on a computer USB without using up batts, as in all day non-stop vaping. Both are considered important for the whole 510 experience. The 510 atty is the hottest stock atty made, so it produces the most vapor and TH.

However, TH is far more than a function of the PV or atty. PG gives a much stronger TH than VG juices, as PG is slightly irritating to most people. A little feels like a TH, a lot and it irritates the throat and mouth and sometimes lungs. It is also thinner than VG, so the nic is not wrapped up as much in the vehicle as it is in VG, so the TH from nic, which is more "available", is stronger. TH also depends on how well the cart is wicking juice to the atty bridge, and how well the juice is getting to the coil. These depend on the cart itself, and many modify the 510 cart because of this (easy, anyone can do it), and the flow of the juice, which depends on its viscosity. I actually use VG juices, no PG, thinned with a little distilled water, and can get a really great TH, certainly as much as I actually want (too much and you are coughing a lot). Some add a little alcohol to their juices, which thins and adds its own alcohol-based TH, as well as making the nic more available. So TH is actually a rather complex effect, depending only in part on the PV and its atty.

The 510 is also probably the most modified atty on the market. Batt mods almost always are fitting for a 510, in addition to other common models, like the kr808d-1, the 801, and 901, but by far the most common fitting is for a 510 atty. So I think of the 510 as a system with hardware that works amazingly well right out of the box, but is built for the future, so to speak, should one want to improve the cart or the batt.

If the NPro is working for you now, and you are on a tight budget, I would try to make that PV work optimally for you for a little while. That way you will learn the ropes better for vaping and PVs in general. Then get the 510 starter kit and whatever other items I mentioned when you can afford them. If the NPro batts are driving you batty, get the 510 now. Compared to buying smokes over the long term, whatever you decide will likely be much cheaper.

Good luck and keep us posted!
