I'm not quite sure if this post belongs here or in the general forum......

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a Vapor Canon (actully a slightly re-styled Boge Leo). How much VG can the unit handle? Most places recommend a ratio of 80/20, but I was thinking about ordering some with a slightly higher VG concentration and don't want to hurt the atty.

Thanks to both of you for the help. Is there a ratio that most seem to prefer?

Vapor Cannon Starter Kit - Starter Kits

It's the Boge Leo, but with a rubberized black finish, no corny jewel at the end, passthrough enabled, and chrome instead of gold color. He also mentioned something about brass somewhere.

Ahhh, the results I was getting from Google were not made for ejuice, LOL. Those look nice, but I kind of like my corny jewel on the end.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with freaky style if that's what you like....:p

I just decided the plastic jewel was not for me. Had it been a real jewel with real gold, that would be a idfferent story. Some Topaz at the end could have been slick too.

The cartridges don't work well for me, simply because they don't keep up with my constant vaping. Others like them though. VG will slow down the wicking because it is thicker. You can get thinned all VG juices too, but for the most part VG will be very thick. I am vaping some Blended TAB from Good Prophets right now that is all VG, and it is thinned out, so that would be one supplier that I would recommend if you are looking for VG juice, otherwise, you'll want a mix of PG/VG to thin it out.

Are you looking to use all VG?

No. Most places recommend an 80/20 ratio of PG/VG. I was thinking about trying 70/30 or 60/40, but now I think I'm placing an order through Bluemist which only offers 100% VG or 80/20 anyway. I'm really looking for clouds of smoke on short puffs without much of a hassle, which is one reason the Leo is attracting me (no dealing with low resistant attys and I don't like the looks of the high voltage mods).

I would definitely try some sample juice from Good Prophets then. 100% VG, but it is thin. I'm vaping some right now through my Leo, and it gets good billowy clouds. Just my experience anyway. Good Prophets has sample juice sales sometimes for 99 cents for 3ml. Standard price is $1.99 for the 3ml. I know there are others too, but theirs is the only thin VG I've personally used. You can get pretty good wicking from 60% VG in 510 carts, so it may be similar to the 801 carts. I just can't tell you for certain because I don't use them. Strictly dripping or cartos for me. :)
