I am using an EGO now and love it but tried a BOLT a few weeks ago. TH is good and the battery is huge so I want to get one. I am confused at the one place I saw to get one.

It does have 510 connectors so I am good with cartomizers but would like to try a tank with a cartomizer attached if possible.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance <3

Indeed, I got mine from Madvapes, I believe it's 35 bucks there, so it's a good deal.

I'd suggest getting at least two batteries so you can always have one charging and one being used. The bolt can use 18500 or 18650 batteries. If you want to use the higher capacity 18650 get the extension ring. Get a charger obviously.

If you want to try out some tanks on your Bolt, I'd suggest the Artemas tanks they have at Madvapes. These days I use these Artemas tanks like 95% of the time, they really are awesome tanks. They have a notched base and also lock the carto into the tank with a threaded ring. With this design it is physically impossible for the tank to spin on the carto, or for the tank to fall off the carto. It also gives it a very nice finished look. The endcaps are not removable, which I personally like, and you don't see any visible o-rings or anything so it's clean looking.

I've tried a lot of tanks and these are my absolute favorite by a long shot. They are the most solid tank I've used or seen, and they look great, especially on a bolt, although the Artemas tanks are a few mm smaller in diameter than the Bolt.

I'd also suggest getting the tank filling tool they have on Madvapes. They have funnel type one, and one that looks like a really long drip tip that tapers to a much thinner diameter on top. I'd get both.

The funnel type one replaces the drip tip, you push the carto down until the holes in the bottom of the funnel thing reach inside the tank, then you just pour the juice down the middle.

The other one that looks like a long skinny drip tip can also be used to fill your tank, but I use mine only for removing and inserting cartos. When you push a carto into the tank the top of the carto is kind of sharp and can/will cut up your internal o-rings. Using this tool saves your o-rings as it gives you a nice smooth surface to slide against the o-rings.

madvapes is a good website for the great selection of the new anodized bolts, and the chrome bolts as well. madvapes also has all the 18650/kick extension sleeves in stock as well. You'll need the 18500 batteries and a charger as well. I recommend trying to get your hands on IMR batteries, but any battery will fit. I use protected trustfires and IMR batteries in mine without a problem. The Bolt was on sale somewhere for something like 21.99 but I can't seem to find the website now. :/ Anyway, they were not the new Anodized bolts. I have the anodized bolt from madvapes and I paid $35. You can't got wrong.

And once again I have proved that my zeal for a deal auto-censors relevant details.....oops:facepalm:

Haha, that's all right. What you posted is a good deal, too. And I think PollyFae will appreciate the contribution to this thread. The more comparable mods people know about, the better, imo.

Pretty much anything looks good on a Bolt haha. I have a regular old blue smoktech plastic tank with smoktech 1.5ohm cartos (which actually read 2ohm lol) and some chai tea juice in it right now, works good looks great. :) Just make the leap! You won't regret a Bolt. They are priced fairly, competitively, and they work well. You can get the extender ring and use 18650s in them which is what I prefer to do with mine. You can get the anodized Bolts for $35 and they have good internals, work well, look grrreat. ST tanks are what, 6-8 bucks? Definitely recommended OP. Do it up.

They look great! It looks a bit long for my liking but it would be a great at-home PV. It not only has the appeal of the SB but it also has the LED lighting around the button AND it comes with free juice at the $34.99 price? One of the reviewers says that it does have a metal button. He called it the silver bullet on steroids. YoureFired, are those all of your Bolts/SBs in your avatar?

Yes, I'm down to the 5 Silver Bullets that are in my avatar. But they are my five fave SBs. :D
