Been using them for 2 mos. without any issues. I use them stacked on a standard resistance single coil delivery set at 7.5 watts and get about a day and a half (about a pack and a half of analogs). The cheap green chinese charger they sell does the job as well.

fasttech has amazing battery prices for panasonic 18650s.
ive never tried EH brand IMR batts, but i was tempted to buy the ones at madvapes. i think its $3.69 per batt for the 18350s.

I was tempted by that deal at Madvapes too....I dont know enough about EH batts though and didnt pull the trigger...
Fast Tech has killer prices on Panasonics. I just bought a couple 18350s from them to use in short mode.
Veterans: how long do the batteries last, how often can I recharge them? I purchases 2x 18350 and 1x 18650 with my unit this past weekend. Mostly I use one 18350 with short mode, and I have two of them. Any general thought as to how long I should wait to purchase replacement batteries? I am Blessed to have a B&M locally to purchase more!!!
I've been vaping for 13 months.
My oldest batteries for AVP's are 11 months old and still work like new.
I have only had one battery than I had to get rid of, but it didn't wear out. It was defective.
That said of the 12 batteries I currently own, I have 6 AW's, 2 Panasonics, 2 Efest and 2 Trustfire.
The battery that was defective was a Trustfire 14500.
I'd say, buy just enough that you have back-up. They should last a good while.....
Can any of the experts explain why everyone seems to recommend the Panasonic 2250 mah over the higher capacities (say the 3400's)?
I'm pretty sure it's because the TYPE we need for regulated devices are fakes in that mAh range...I forgot the cutoff, but anything over a certain amount is a re-labling.

I've got a couple and they are great! I think these are the replacement cells recommended by Joyetech for the Evic these days too.
The issue isn't capacity, it's battery type.
The 2250 mAh Panasonics are a high drain hybrid battery capable of delivering 10 amps of current.
Same goes for IMR batteries like the AW or Efest. These are safer chemistry batteries.
The Panasonic 3400 mAh is an standard Liion.
It has lower current rating and is not safe chemistry.
