Coil and wick setup and also rba design is more critical than anything... sure a vv or vw design will give you greater flexibility and options.

If you have a bit of money to invest...you cant go wrong with a provari.

Theres alot of options for atomizers... again if you have a bit to invest in a good rba.... a kayfun lite is high quality and a great vape.

You can also get an amazing vape from something as simple as a good quality cheap mechanical mod and a cheap dripper rba clone setup with a micro coil on cotton.

Ive tried about everything and microcoils on cotton are where its at! I rock em in everything

You don't need a mechanical for RBA/RDA, just have to have a coil above 1.2 ohms or it won't fire. I am currently using an Igo-L on a Vamo and it completely ruined carto tanks and clearomizers for me. The clouds of vapor will come with a great wick/coil. My suggestions is to do as much research about them before you commit.

Most people will recommend a RSST for RBA and a Igo-L for RDA.

I get great vapor production off my vamo and cardo tank. Not those massive fog machine clouds, i find those unnecessary, but its in my opinion an obnoxious amount compared to analogs.

Those fog machine clouds contain unbeatable flavor and TH, very satisfying watching the production of something you built as well.

haha, yeah I'm speaking on what I know. I have an Igo on the way and probably changing what I say very soon. but I dont plan on going too crazy on coil building, at least for now. Probably stick with 2ohm single coils for a while.

Personally the Igo-L has changed the way I vape, cut my nic level and will soon be packing my rda's with me to work because the protank and carto tanks are now underwhelming.

Mini provari? Poldiac? Any suggestions? I'm going into rba's as well though its a new learning curve for me.. How to build dual coils? And mods for dual coils? Is it necessary for plumes of vape? Any help or recommendations + 1 thank you in advance.

vape on!

You would probably get the most out of something like a VV/VW mod that has a resistance checker on it. I'm partial to the Sigelei Zmax. I'm sure you will get a lot of comments like get a Provari and Vamo. Those are all fine mods. Then you should start working on building a good RDA. The clouds that you talk of are what I get when I drip.

Yes, RBA/RDAs give mechanical mods more power/options/freedom. However, I would strongly recommend putting an RDA/RBA on a mechanical until you are ore comfortable building your own coils.

The VV/VW mods not only have an ohm reader, but also have protection built into them, so they will shut off in cases of a short, etc..

An igo-l with air hole drilled out to 1/16" is a very good vape, I setup my first cotton microcoil on an igo-l...it was a game changer for me
