Best quality tank on the market

What is it? I don't think I want to try rebuilding right now. But I'm looking for the highest quality tank out there. One with replaceable atomizers. I want quality!! No burnt hits atleast not for a long time and limited gurgling and of course after taking all the obvious precautions to prevent burnt hits and gurgling in the first place. Right now I have an aerotank v2 with their new version replacement atomizers. I had the nautilus I really liked it but I think it was defective after trying several replacement attys in it and making sure everything was nice and tight it still leaked like crazy.

I have both the nautilus and the aeros and I like the nautilus much more, especially with the new coils. try a nautilus mini, it comes with an extra bvc that you can put in your full size.

You really aren't going to find a clearo that doesn't have issues. Vaping has come VERY far since 2008, but it still has a long way to go....right now, RDAs and RBAs are the way to go.

If you MUST settle for a clearo, you are going to have to accept that you WILL occasionally have issues with gurgling, dry hits, having to fiddle with it, leaking, etc. With that said, I think the original kanger pro tank is time tested, and a great device. I prefer it over the pro tank 2 actually.

Either something from the Kanger Pro Tank series,
or a Nautilus

You can also carto tanks. Notably more consistent, takes a little more time/detail to set up then a clearo, but once you put in a carto and prime it properly, it has FAR less issues than clearos have. No leaking, no gurgling, better flavor, better consistency. I recommend an IBTanked Carto tank that.

I went through the bad coils from both Kanger and Aspire for too long. I rebuild coils, but one day I decided that if I was going to build coils I might as well buy an RBA that was designed for that. I picked up an EHPro Kayfun 3.1 and never looked back.

The Kangers are good when the coils last. It's the same with the Aspire. It looks like both companies have coil heads out with new designs and all is well. Just be careful to ensure you get the new ones, not the old ones when you order. Aerotank Mega and the Nautilus are both good flavor and vapor producers.

I use ibtanked and crazy vape carto tanks . I also use Iclears 30s, 30b and X.1. The s and b have plastic tanks that do not seem to be affected by the e-juices that are tank crackers. The x.1 is glass. Of them the ibtanked gets the most use, mostly due to its 8ml volume and great flavor rendering.

I also have three RBAs with important volume, but that's not what you are looking for.

A year ago I occassionally used the original iClear 30 clearomizer. It came the closest to having the flavor production that my IBTanked cartotanks have. When Innokin stopped making the replacement coil heads for the iClear 30, I didn't bother getting the iClear 30S or 30B. Who knows if they'll stop making the coil heads for those within 6 months like they did with the original iClear 30?

Many people have issues with clearomizers in general. Face it, these were designed for novice vapers who needed something easy to fill and easy to change coil heads. But their design using tiny silica wicks and tiny coils lend them to leak, flood, get juice in the mouth, and in general be inconsistant.

I suggest taking the next step up the chain and try a cartotank. They use a different wicking system that will not be prone to the issues that a clearomizer has. Although I've moved up to a Kayfun-style rebuildable tank and rebuildable drip atomizers, I still use my cartotanks too.

IBTanked pyrex cartotanks - review

Although it would not be difficult to learn to use a rebuildable atomizer (tank or dripper), there are certain basics to learn prior to using one. These have a higher learning curve than a clearomizer or cartotank.

I'm getting really good performance out of the Kanger tanks at the moment. The replacement heads have been really consistent for me (the newer dual bottom coil ones). The Aspire Nautilus heads are more miss than hit for me, when you get a good one, they're great, but it's extremely rare. Haven't tried the new Aspire heads yet, but they sound good. My choice would be the Aerotank 2.0 or the Aerotank Mega (the Aerotank mini just doesn't hold enough juice).

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
baditude, do you use a knock-off of a kayfun? if you do can you point me in the right direction? thanks..

HERE'S one of the lite that people I know like a lot at the best price I've seen. Check around the site for other Kayfun clones by EhPro, too.

The vape shop my wife manages has discontinued carrying the Nautilus tanks, claiming a near 90% return rate, usually because of leaks, and one or two that have burned up inside. I've seen the stack of returned units.

The Aerotank Mega is the current champ, in terms of satisfied customers at the store. My wife vapes on a Mega exclusively. I tried to turn her on to a Kayfun lite, but it only lasts a day or so before the Mega is sitting back on her MVP.
