Do you want it to be a tank or dripping atty? On what battery exactly?

Saying 510-style battery makes me think cigalike. Do you mean eGo-style or one of the larger mods or something?

If it's for a bigger mod:
tank:RSST
Dripper:iGO-L

If it's eGo-sized:
tank: not many of these to choose from... A7 w/A7oid from Captivape? Turns the A7 into a Spheroid-style device.
Dripper:A7 or iGO-S

If you mean Ego batteries and want something that fits nicely, I like the A7-oid, AGA-S and the Smok RDA with a tank collar. Just be careful to follow ohms law and stay at or under 2 amps when making coils or you might kill your batts. The RDA is 20 times easier to wick than the A7 and AGA.

A7-oid, AGA-S looks similar

The AGA-S is really designed for mesh but silica will work too. No chance that you'll get 3 strands of 1.5mm silica in the hole though. Maybe two if you're pushing it (it's got a 2.5mm wick hole).

I'd double or triple the wick where the coil is gonna be and have one leg of the wick going into the wick hole, the other into the juice feed hole.

What size mesh should I be looking to get? I know my EGO Upgrades have short protection in them, so screwing up once or twice isn't a huge concern. As far as the AGA-S is, how much different is the AGA-T2 from the S? Thinking about getting them both in order to have a backup atomizer for the inevitability of one blowing eventually.

#500 is the best bang for buck, #400 will do if you don't mind tilting a bit.

The AGA-T2 is humungous and heavy. It made my dual 18650 mod way too top-heavy for me in the past so I imagine it would feel like a pendulum on an eGo.

Get an iGO-L and a thread cover designed for 6ml tanks like the one on the left here

and you'll have a great back-up if the AGA-S goes awry. Dripping isn't that much work and it's an amazing atty.

The iGO-L w/the correct thread cover on an eGo looks like this:

Wow, I found that iGO-L for $14!

Found a web-site where I can get my AGA-S, an iGO-L and an A7. Would anyone NOT recommend any of these? If so why?

Keep in mind that with the EGO Upgrade batteries if a short is detected they won't fire again or even turn on until you put them on a charger. This is very inconvenient when out and about.

Placing an order next week. Any criticisms?

VAMO V2 Battery w/ 2x Samsung ICR18650 2600mAh Batteries
2x iGO-L for my current batteries
1x A7
1x AGA-T to use with the Vamo

I'd get IGO-S for your EGO batteries if you like your devices to have matched diameters. The A7 is also a fantastic EGO sized device.

The AGA-T + Vamo is a great combination but keep in mind SS Mesh takes a bit of practice to get right. The AGA can be easily setup with silica which makes it a good intro RBA imo.

As far as batteries, don't get those 2600mah Samsungs. Get the 2250mah Panasonic Hybrids floating around on a lot of vendor sites. For the Vamo get Flat Top, Unprotected.

Have fun with the new toys!

Unsure what you mean by Flat Top, Unprotected, care to explain please?

~~~ Efest IMR 18650 2250mAh - Flat Top This?
Also, as far as getting into RBAs, I I've been using my Vision for a while, and have gotten a lot of practice making coils on silica. I'll be ordering 3 sheets of SS mesh so I can go through a sheet ....ing them up.
As far as the iGo goes, MyVaporStore doesn't have the S, so the L it is.
For the upgrades, my girlfriend will be using my EGO batteries and either the A7 or the iGO, whichever she decides she likes better. She has never smoked real cigarettes, but loves using my e-cigarette, which is why I decided to go ahead and upgrade to a real battery and a real RBA.
Also, if anyone has a better web-site to order off of that will have all of the items I'm looking to get, I'd love to get my stuff a bit cheaper.
Currently buying:
1x A7
1x AGA-T
2x iGO-L
2x 500x500/316L
2x (20 ft) 1.5mm Silica
1x 34g Kanthal Wire (10 ft)
1x Vamo V2
2x Efest IMR 18650 2250 mAH
1x Trustfire Charger.
Total coming to $169
