1 Twisted Messes RDA | Twisted Messes

By far the best rda I have used for clouds. Amazing deck to build on. 3 different drip tips are included. 2 AFC colored rings. Huge post holes.
my friend recently just got the twisted messes, and besides the build he has on it, it looks pretty nice. I've heard from alot of people though that the Velocity would be the best choice due to the 2 post design, but I'm still not for sure.

I will second the lycan. Wow I thought I was the only one using it. :thumb: The well is deep and the overall deck has Alot of room. I have been putting 3.5id coils in mine lately. It has the most airflow of any other one I have tried which is why I'm suprised I don't see more folks talking about it. It comes with tons of extras including a stainless cuff like drip tip, oh and is available in black now. I was torn between it and the mutation 4 but decided on this one because of the massive cyclops under airflow. I just didn't like the staggered airflow on the mutation. Oh and it's 35 for an authentic so hard to go wrong. Good luck.

OH HELL YEAH !!! I thought I was the only one too man :D I'm surprised that it's not popular. The airflow is amazing. I like using the center bottom side flow hole, and the bottom wide open. I also own the Mutation X V4. It doesn't even come close to it. :toast:

You both use the Lycan as well? Awesome, and here I thought I was the only one. now I know I am one of the few!
I have tried a handful of other RDAs and yeah the Lycan and Mutation V3 is what I have come down to, trying to figure out which one I prefer.

My only issue with the Lycan is sometimes I over fill and it leaks, but I figure if I keep it to 5 to 10 drops it shouldn't leak. Also trying to figure out how I should configure it. How do each of you have your Lycan set up?

8$ velocity clone from china... fantastic build deck, clouds and even flavor. Mad hatter clone is my daily driver ( if I drip ) I just love how easy that thing is to fill... and it gives decent vapor and flavor.

I have one of these, made by Tobeco I think is the company. Decent vapor and flavor, the only issue I had with it was how hot it got. Of all the RDAs I have owned and tried that my friends own, the velocity tobeco clone got really hot, really fast and stayed hot.

I use the stainless cap. For me the trick has been to use minimal cotton in the well and drip more carefully. I try to drip on or between the posts and if the well isn't full of cotton it holds alot. I learned the hard way not to drip directly on the coils because it runs around the coil and out the bottom airflow. So long story short I just let the cotton touch the bottom of the well and drip in the middle lol. Hope this helps ya out.

I have the mutation xv4 and not bad for cloud chasing and good flavour to, just received the kennedy v2 though, not heard or read much about it but I'm liking the airflow design. I'll post again once I've tried my 1st build on it. Any recommendations for builds are welcome, I have 20,22,36,30 and 32g kanthal and will be running it on a sig 100w.

I am currently using the top that has the derlin adapters, since I like my 510 mouth piece.
I just saw a video the other night suggesting to use slanted coils so instead of them being _ they are \ which has seemed to help the flow of the liquid.
You suggest less wick in the well? Just enough of the tip to soak up the juice? I will give it a shot, dripping into the center I mean.
I am using the philip screws, but they need to be torqued down pretty hard to take away coil wiggle, where as the hex screws seem to be easier to keep in place.

Pheno-L, Twisted Messes, Kennedy 22mm/24mm if you wanna go over $75. I was pleasantly surprised with the cloud output from my twisted messes when I got it. I'm running dual 2 core 24g triple stitched aliens (5 wraps, 3mm) in my TM atty and it's capable of throwing huge dense clouds.
If you want the biggest airflow options, go for the Phenotype-L. It's got 4 gigantic afc holes on each side. Fully open, it's overkill to me. Too much airflow. I personally like it at half, with the smaller two air slots open (they get gradually thinner). I don't own one but a buddy let me borrow his for a week to try it out.
If you want to spend over $75, definitely get a Kennedy 24. It takes zero effort to get massive clouds out of it.
I have the mutation x v3 & v4, Sapor, doge v2, dark horse, & more, but they all got shelved after I got better atties. Mutations are OKAY at best, but if you're gonna get one, get the v3 over the v4. V4 is leak city, if it's not leaking out of the bottom airflow, it's leaking down the side of the deck because the orings suck on it.
My daily atty rotation is:
Kennedy 24
Dotmod Petri (ordering a cloud cap soon, but the stock cap has good airflow and great flavor)
Twisted Messes
Hobo v3.1.
@Fantazmagoricl try wrapping dual 22g/36g fused Claptons, or 22g slanted quads for the Kennedy.
