Hi

I'm looking at ordering an Atomizer (preferably one with a tank). I've ordered a hybrid mod for dripping already, but would like to try a clone with a tank. Can anyone recommend one for beginners that would suit a Nemisis Clone. (Wanting to purchase from fasttech)

I've watched a couple of videos and I'm not intimidating by tinkering with something, but novice friendly devices would be handy. 10-20 usd range.

I recommend a Kayfun Black Edition. If you can build a micro coil you can build it How To Build A Micro Coil!!! - YouTube ! It was my 2nd rebuildable i ever got and never had a problem with it. Just make sure you have a ohm reader and your battery can handle what you build! Good luck and have fun!!!

Hi there, based on some of the videos I have watched from Grimmgreen and others the Kayfun lite looked like as good place as any to start I think.
Looks like a relatively easy wick and wire setup and all done on the top of the deck too. Plus from what I understand they vape well and not too bad for leaking either.
It has the best flavor out of everything ive tried. Its a must own. I own 5 and will prob be getting more. Its hard to believe how good they are you just have to buy one and find out. I was the first one to get one out of all my friends now thats all we ever use now unless we want to try a cool coil build. The Black Edition has adjustable 510 connection and bigger airflow. The only time mine leaks is if i fill it from the top and dont do it right. Pbusardo explains that in his video.

As far as tank (RTAs) go... Kayfun Lite Plus is IMHO the best available. (besides the basically identical Russian variants) That being said... you can't go wrong with a good genesis (Krankens are gorgeous) RTA after you master the KFL. A hybrid, a kayfun and a kraken... that's like the modern vaper's trifecta right there.

I started off with a Genesis and building coils was a Pain in the .... (cant curse on here) for me at lest.

The AGA-T2 seems to be pretty popular;
Unlike the I-atty that I bought, the AGA has phillip head screws, and it as nuts

Really love the looks of the GP stuff, was half tempted to buy a Paps and Spheroid but will see how we go with a clone mech first to see if they are for me.
Yeah the KFL seems like the most obvious choice, I have ordered a genuine one and two clones from Fasttech - the genuine should be here much much sooner as UK based seller. Fasttech are not exactly quick, I know it's been the new year and everything but they keep moving the order out a week at a time for dispatch alone so far.

thanks for all the replies folks!

I'm really tempted by the Kraken clone but that's purely because it looks so damn cool to be honest. I'm based over in the uk if anyone can recommend a UK based vendor for the kayfun?

Vapegeek.co.uk - Uber fast delivery and top notch customer service. You really can't fault them :)

I know somewhere, but I won't publish the name on here. I don't approve buying from FT/Zainey/Healthcabin/Alibaba and selling items on.
If you want to find the best places, ask on AAEC. Clone discussion is not allowed on UKV. Maybe POTV?
Good luck. :)

Note, the kayfun does not take the standard drip tips, for some reason.

That's why I ordered a foggerV3 instead.

But for a first timer, beginner, I recommend genesis type; it is top coil.
Hard to flood a topcoil genesis.
There is also no airflow to go down through tank, so less likely to have an issue with liquid getting into airflow and going down to battery;
You can even drop on a top coil genny; just take the cap off, drip direct to coil, put cap on, and take a test vape;

the kayfun types are bottom coil, with all the inherent difficulties of a bottom coil

For a first rebuildable tank, you seriously can't go wrong with any sort of Kayfun.... either a real one or a clone. A microcoil with cotton wick is extraordinarily easy to make and provides a consistently outstanding vape.

Genesis-styles, like the Kraken, have a real learning curve to them, especially if you plan on being a purist and using stainless steel mesh. I do not recommend them as a first-time rebuildable. If you must, I think the RSST is the better one to get your feet wet with, as it has an insulated wick hole that helps eliminate hotspots/shorts, and even allows you to easily do the "pulse method" of oxidizing your wick.
