best resistance for 4.8 v

burt taste is your wick drying out (not wicking fast enough) 2.2ohm at 4.8v is only getting 10ish watts. if it is a stock coil head/ tank you may have found its limit. try a lower resitance coil head but you will probably run into the same thing. the aspire nautilus keeps up pretty good stock at 20watts and thats really the last step b4 rebuilding (kayfun would be a good jump after that)

Thanks for the info Diamond... Do you think it's wise to purchase a rebuildable before I start playing with the tiny clearomizer tanks? Will I be sick of the kayfun right away? I have limited funds and if I'm upgrading I want to buy something I can tinker with and be happy with for a LONG time...

the kayfuns/russians are still pretty much the standard for tank attys and most flexible with mods (ego-mvp-dna-mechs -just build the coil to suit ur device) and pretty easy to build (with the right homework and materials) and should last a very long time (the bottom fill models are a little easier and if you go the clone route u may end up enlarging/touching up the juice channels but thats about it.)

Why do you feel the need to use max voltage?
You set the optimal voltage, based on the type of atty, build and resistance, not the other way around.

For limited funds, the rebuildable is the way to go.

With the clearomizers you either keep buying replacement atomizer heads or you try to rebuild those tiny heads; if you spend time rebuilding those tiny heads sooner or later you end up wondering why not just get a proper rebuildable.

Yeah I was thinking about order some 34ga wire for rebuilding the small atomizers but I would rather work eith thicker wire that will give me more vapor as well
