My Ikenvape's RY4 should be here by Tuesday. Today I received one from Gourmet Vapors, @M Ike. I wasn't planning on ordering from them, but they are 50% off until the 4th and I'm a sucker for a sale. Since I was there anyway, I added a 5ml of their RY4 to my order. It's...meh...ok. It's definitely not as good as Halo's Tribeca, but MUCH cheaper. You get what you pay for is right, @WV2WIN. I tried to order from Backwoods Brew, but their RY4 was unavailable.

I bought a bottle of Ikenvape RY4... it's great and all, but here's the problem

It smells/tastes EXACTLY (and i mean EXACTLY) like a slightly weaker version of DeKang DK-TAB

I have a 50ml bottle of DK-TAB and a 20ml bottle of Ikenvape RY4. I did a little test, I asked my wife, and 2 of my friends to try and tell the difference between Ikenvape RY4 and DK-TAB,, both vaping/smelling

Not a single person (including me when I had a friend mix up cartos) could tell which was which.... the ONLY way to tell was the Ikenvape RY4 was a slightly less stronger taste (and I believe this is due to the 30% VG in the mix, whereas Dekang DK-TAB is 100% PG)

I have a 50ml bottle of Dekang RY4 on the way from madvapes, so I can really see what's going on once i get that... don't get me wrong, I *love* the flavor, it's my all day vape... but I was expecting something totally different from Ikenvape RY4.. not a DK-TAB remake.

This is why I'll be sticking with Dekang juices and adding my own VG. I've tried a plethora of 'expensive' juices now and not a single one has bested Dekang DK-TAB which is $10/50ml

I think most of the RY4's that I've tried are way too sweet. They taste like a mouthfull of caramel ice cream topping to me...

On the other hand, I really like Vapor Station and V4L RY4 because they're a little on the dry side. The tobacco, caramel and vanilla flavors are definately there, but they aren't overpowering, nor sickeningly sweet.

For a dry RY4, try Joogler's Blend. They will give you a free bottle if you pay $2 shipping. Very good, clean flavor. Bright yet dry.

For a sweet RY4, nothing I've tried beats QuicknicJuice. Theirs has to steep for 10 days, but is very good. Nice woody tobacco, good clean flavors. Great price.

And this thread is a must read for RY4 lovers. Only 230 posts, but best thread on ecf.
