Hey all! I could use some help finding the best RY4 out there. It seems like everybody has a version. I think it could be my all-day vape if I found the right one, so I am curious:

What's your favorite RY4?

So far I've tried Liberty Flights and Dekang and they both had their own good qualities, but also their own shortcomings.
Liberty Flights had a great sweetness to it, but the flavor was very light.
Dekang had more of a tobacco flavor to it, that I liked, but I thought it could have more sweetness to it.
There's got to be a juice out there that has both, but there are so many, I don't know where to start. And I would like to avoid spending too much $$ on my quest. So any input would would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance...

You looking for a vendor Ry4? Or mix your own? If its vendor then I will say good luck but so far i thought Mom And Pops Vapor shop had some very good Ry4 variations. I have tried a ton and so far mom and pops was as good as BWB use to make. They have like 3 different versions but the RY4 Tobacco and Ry4 V2 are both excellent. Plus their prices are very reasonable.

Like ogredog said, you opened a big can of worms with this one...lol.. You'll get a ton of answers for sure.

I recommend ECBlend Flavors RY4. It has been my ADV for a long while, I use other juices as well, but always find myself coming back to this one. I get mine with extra caramel and the juice gets even better (already excellent when it arrives) in about a week of steeping. The tobacco is light, and the caramel and vanilla are an amazing complement on the exhale. ECBlends pricing is also some of the best out there.

Ones I'm fond of:

EC Blends Ruyan 4 with extra flavor (one of my go-to's, I vape more of this than almost any other juice)
AltLiquid RY4 (not bad, more sweet, less tobacco)
Highbrow Vapor RY4 (has a graham crackery/gingery quality that some would like, some would hate)

Oddly enough, Backwoods Brew's RY4 isn't my cup of tea. Just as well, because it's horrifically hard to get.
Smokeless Image's RY4 isn't bad...nothing to write home about, but a decent straightforward RY4

Copper Creek Voo's Broo probably doesn't quality as a true RY4, but it's good. Very tobacco-y with a pretty strong dark, buttery caramel flavor.

Renegade RY4 from NiteLiteVapor. It's on the sweet side with a truckload of throat hit and flavor. The prices are great as well. 10ml for $3.50, 30 ml for $10, and they even have 120ml jugs. I would highly recommend trying the Bounty Hunter juice, and I hear great things about Gold, but I have not had a chance to try it yet.
The juices are currently offline until Monday. Gene, the owner, is making improvements to his business so he can get more juice out faster. :)

Also, keep an eye on the Backwoods Brew website. Their RY4 has just been taken offline due to ingredient availability, but there is chatter about a reformulated RY4 that might be coming our way soon. This is all speculation, so take it with a grain of salt.

my favorite, by far:

Vaperite Organic VR4 Tobacco, 50PG/50VG mix.

Others I like on occasion:

Vapor Station VS4
Halo Cigs Tribeca
GoodEJuice GJ4
Want2vape RY4
Primevaping PV4
KickBassVapor RY4
NiteliteVapor Renegade RY-4

There are a few more that I like and dozens more that failed to impress me. RY4 isn't something I crave often.

Check out billherbst's The Really Big RY4 Roundup (long)

Bon courage!

I like the Mom&Pop's ry4 variations also. Ikenvape's hits like a freight train and is very well respected. Goodejuice has an interesting version as well called GJ4 using a great creamy natural tobacco extract. I could go on and on with many others I have tried and liked, but........... I always end up going back to the first RY4 I ever tried which is Smokeless Image's Volt Ry4. It just always seems to satisfy when I can't taste other juices after a long day of vaping. It goes great with beer(especially IPA's) and really comes alive with smokey flavor at higher voltage for me. Good luck with your quest!!

My best suggestion is to acquire samples (or the smallest volumes) of many RY4 variants .. It's like any really good dish, it's usually not a single aspect (like sweetness, flavor, TH, or whatever) as much as the synergy. You know, ... "the whole is greater than the sum of the parts" Gestalt thing.

You'd do best to dive into the rabbit hole and skim through billherbst's RY4 thread. It is very useful and educational.. Bill has organized many RY4 juices by characteristic according to his tastes. Although tastes vary widely the thread is probably the best resource on all things RY4.
