Most of the e-liquids that I vape come from a local B&M that mixes their own. They've done a pretty good job of acquiring good flavorings all around, with one exception. I can't stand their tobacco flavorings in any form. And in fact, neither can they.
The initial flavors of their tobaccos are good and I enjoy them at first. But after only a few puffs, the problem that each of them shares rears it's ugly head. Each of them share some component that makes the vapor dry and gaggy to the point that I physically gag on them and quickly put them aside. Even mixing them at the smallest of concentration ends up with the same result.
Recently, I tried a couple of tobacco flavors at another local store. While they weren't my favorite flavors, none of the tobaccos I tried had that dry, gaggy, component to them.
I know the store that I frequent does not add anything else to these flavors. It's simply the flavoring added to the nicotine base, so the problem has to be the manufacturer of the flavorings.
So the question is a simple one. Which vendor provides the best tobacco flavorings (real or artificial) that exclude the unnecessary gag component? The store in question is owned by good friends, and I have no doubt that they would be willing to at least try a sample from another vendor if the pricing was reasonable.
