Depends really, all come down to personal taste. Bottom coils are a warmer vape while top coils are a cooler vape. Ohms come into play also, along with how much liquid they hold etc.

I recommend the Aerotank from kanger, coming from me using it on my SVD. I rebuilt it and it's been only great vaping from there.

Carto tanks are also a low maintenance tank. once you prime it correctly just fill and vape away!

i suggest protank 3's i have 2 and if you use the vamo out of the house or are rough on your stuff like i am, and your top ring unscrews use a short battery and take the extension tube and screw it to where the top ring goes and put the top ring on it. i posted thread titled vamo question and one of the guys link and attatchment showing what i am talking about.

Protank lover reporting in!

I use my PT2 & PT3 with my V5 & love it!

The draw may be a little tight for some's preference, but I like a little resistance when i vape since I was a long time cigar man. But I have noticed that you can make some minor adjustments to the draw with the V5's beauty collar.

I'm using 2.2 ohms coils in my PT2 and 2.0 ohms coils in my PT 3.

I love the idea of the Aero Tank. Have a Pro Tank 2 coming but want to find the best match. May be another thread but what is the difference with a carto tank as opposed to the BCC type? Thanks for posting.
A carto tank is just a regular cartomizer with a tank that goes around it. There's one or more holes in the side of the carto to let e-liquid flow into the cartomizer to keep it wet. The bottom coil tanks have a coil, a bit of twisted wire, and a bit of wicking material to move the e-liquid from the tank to the coil rather like how the traditional atomizer & cartridge system works but it does a much better job than the old setup.

Personally I've never liked cartomizers and adding a tank doesn't change the way the carto vapes compared to an atomizer. The small coil used in tanks isn't really much smaller than the traditional atomizer so it compares very favorably. I like the good bottom coil designs like those from Kanger.

Do we know if that affects the airflow? I'm sure it could but I'm also a noob so wth doi know

I personally like the way it draws with extention tube on it. It gives it just a little resistance, but doesn't restrict air flow too much.
But that's just my preference.
