I have a Sigelei ZMAX v3 and have been using pretty much exclusively Kanger AeroTanks and have recently switched to the AeroTank Mega with the new heads that have the wick inside the housing. I know that this design is supposed to last longer than those with the exposed wicks, but it seems like these get roasted so much faster now. I like to use 100% VG juice as PG really seems to irritate my throat and airways. Aside from blending my juice with distilled water or focusing on changing juice, does anyone recommend any tanks specifically for VG? I found another thread related to this but the info was two years old, which could just as well be 50 the way vaping tech is evolving. Please advise and thanks for your help!

Welcome to ECF, hoimang...

As you're not a builder, and don't sound like a modifier... the best thing I can suggest is to occasionally "prime" your atomizer.
Tank type atomizers all work on the same principals of "pressure differential". If you cover the fresh air intake port of your AFC, and do a few un-fired draws, you will overcome the vacuum in the tank and draw additional juice into the wick system... which should reduce or even eliminate your dry fires.

You can also simply reduce the fresh air intake opening... which has the effect of distributing more of your available draw vacuum to overcoming tank vacuum, rather than pulling in outside air.

Thanks. Local vape shop guy thinks the VG is just too thick to be adequately reabsorbed between fires with the new wicks as the old ones may have burned faster in PG, but because the older exposed wicks had more surface area they didn't dry out as much.

I've been thinking about building but have yet to find the time. I guess I could always try to find a stockpile of the old coils somewhere. Thanks.
