Best tube mod for use with a 1.5 ohm dual coil tank?

Okay, I'm ready to take the plunge for a tube mod... BUT -- There are so many choices my head is spinning (again)!

I started vaping in September with a Joye 510. Quickly (within a week) moved to a KGo. And tho I like the KGo fine, it's a bit weak with the smoktek dual coil 1.5 ohm carto tank (which I LOVE!).

I want to stick with the 1.5 DC carto tank set up, so which tube mod will work best with them?

I was all set to buy the ProVari, but ProVape had posted on the bottom of the ProVari page awhile ago that they did NOT recommend using the LR dual coil 1.5s with them (tho that particular note is no longer there).

So I'm back to where I started... Looking for a tube mod that will work great with the 1.5 DC carto tank.

Advice would be MOST sincerely appreciated! THANK YOU!

I like using my DC tank on my Sabertouch. It's VV with the High Power (5A) option. It hits harder than my VV boxmods that I've assembled from Madvapes VV circuit. I can crank it up to 6V (unloaded voltage) and the nicquid just sizzles. I don't know what the loaded voltage is, as I don't have an in-line meter yet, but I like it set around 4.5V (unloaded) anyway. The only drawbacks are A) the voltage is only adjustable with a tiny screwdriver (included with purchase) and B) If you palm the mod all the time like I do you have to be careful to not misfire it. It has a touch sensor vs a button. Any completion of the circuit can cause misfire, so any conductive material (yes, your skin or damp clothes) can cause it to fire. It does handle the 1.5ohm DC cartos like a champ, tho! I personally like the 2ohm DCs even better in my BigDaddyVapor SS tank.

I believe you can use any tube mod that is 3.7 volts. I use the dual coil tanks found on many sites with a Silver Bullet and also a Bombshell from Hotvapes. I also have a variable volt box mod and have turned it up to 4 volts and found that quite satisfying. You really have a multitude of choices. I don't think a Rough Stack would be too great since you would be trying to push a button located on the top & under the tank.

I'm actually enjoying the heck out of the 1.5ohm DCT tanks on my electronicstix/moju republic Megalodon and Mako MIDI. The tanks are the same diameter and look very streamlined. Admittedly the Don has been getting more use, but I rotate them out depending on mood. Plus, they both work with the flanged pre-punched cartos without blocking the airflow like my P16 does. Have to use non-flanged cartos with the P16.

Thanks Tinstar...

From your above comments, I went and looked at the Don and got all excited! Liked it's features and decided to buy one! OUT OF STOCK. I could order one from the UK store (Moju Republic), but God only knows how long it would take to get here, AND, they are OUT OF STOCK on the 18650 batteries and charger. Nothin' like having a new mod with NO batteries... Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Can't even begin to tell you how many vendors have lost my business because they're OUT OF STOCK...

Check Super T Manufacturing. I just ordered another 18650 battery from them. They also have a low shipping cost.

I use a 1.5 dc tank on my sb and bb and both perform similarly, aside from battery life. 1.5 dc tanks work fine on a lava tube and provari and have gotten to 4.1 on both without a error code on the provari. Don't know if the limiter kicked in on the lt though. For all day use, I probably wouldn't go past 4v. However, you can get a 3.0 sc for your tank and go to 5.5v on the provari and lt. Warmer, heavier clouds with good th. Some juices don't like it though. I get my 3.0 sc from volcano b/c the flanges are notched to tell the two types apart.

The 2900mah are actually the best of the bunch....and its showing in stock as of 9pm EST. He ran tests on them and found that they outperformed the other aw 18650s.

Okay, yeah, I see they've got the 2900 mah. I was looking at the 1600 mah (which they were out of stock on).
Forgive me for being a complete novice, but do I understand mahs correctly that the higher the mah, the longer the battery will last before charging?
