well, good news bad news. Good news is found a diy vanilla I dig, bad news is that the natural sugars are caramelizing on my coils, get crud build up way too fast. at least, i think that's the reason for the build up. I'm using some Madagascar vanilla extract, seems to be the culprit. Any suggestions for a vanilla flavoring that won't caramelize? thanks in advance.

What joose device are ya using?

I'd gladly sacrifice some time cleaning coils if I could get a true 'nilla vape! That and pineapple...

ETA: I'm gonna mix up some DIYFS Holy Vanilla tonight. <fingers crossed>

using rebuildable CE4s and a vivi nova. if you want to clean them, I can hook you up on my recipe for diy vivid vanilla, as close as you can get without buying their junk carts. 50 50 base with Madagascar vanilla, Tahitian vanilla, and a touch of coffee. really pretty good, but dang, does it ever gunk up the coils. i just do the vanilla to taste, 8 mils 50 50 and 1 mil each of the vanillas and a few drops of coffee concentrate flavor.

it's a PITA to clean the coils after using it. I'm trying to find a vanilla without natural sugars that caramelize. So far, I have used 50/50 base from Wizard Labs with both 24 mg nic and 36. I dig nicotine. Helps me with not smoking big-time, so I use a ton of nic. don't think it matters as far as taste if you use less nic. I use Watkins Madagascar Bourbon vanilla extract (where all my sugars on my coils are from, currently trying to find an adequate flavor replacement), Flavour Art Tahitian vanilla, and Coffee from Wizard. I have been using 8 mils base, 1 mil each of the two vanillas and 4 or 5 drops of the coffee. The coffee is where that deep base flavor comes from in the vivids I think, so far anyways. You can adjust it to taste with the vanillas and coffee, I tweak it a little here and there when mixing it. Usually steeps pretty well over night, but if you have it around for 3 or 4 days, that's pretty much all it lasts with me. I've tried a bunch of premixed stuff, and this is as close as I've come. might not be theirs exactly, but it was close enough for me. cool?

i'm glad to see you got it, and i cant wait to give it a try. i'm not a great diy'r but i went through a whole pack of blu's comparing it with others trying to figure it out.. i knew it had to be coffee thanks a bunch.

if you have any carts left from empty blu's, you can always load this stuff in there, it's close enough that in their carts, it's even closer...no prob. cheers.
