finaly got my zmax, cobra and ceramic wicks in and figured i would break a few wicks before i got it right so i ordered 6 lol , but after 10 min wraping 32 guage wire around the 3/32 ceramic wick , with no breaks .
i adjusted the wire in a few places till it glowed evenly , owmed it out on the zmax 1.7 :)
i cant belive how much better my juices taste with this set-up , and from what ive read it only gets better from here .
even though ive never tries a ss mesh wick i was paronoid about the shorts from the hooror stories that ive read , i cant see how it can give better flavor than a ceramic wick . .
so to anyone who is worried about useing ceramics for the first time , if a complete clutz like me can do it anyone can :)

I must agree. I have a ceramic wick on an AGA-T2. Been vaping with it going on 2 weeks. I've been told not to clean it yet. The flavor is great and vapor production is good too. I just got an ac9 that I was gonna put another cw in but it is a little short. These are 1/8" cw. I will soon be replacing this ss wick in the ac9 with a ceramic but not too soon. The ac9 has been the easiest rba to set a ss wick in. I am not a big fan of the ac9 "program" but I have to be honest this thing rocks. I'm very empressed with it. So I know adding a ceramic wick to this will just make my vaping experience even better. So for me: ac9 + ceramic wick = best vape ever.

it will get better, after about 3 tanks it really rocks. until then not to much voltage. the tighter one can wrap the coil the faster the break in period, so if your getting a good vape now then you probably wrapped a pretty good coil. if you ever feel like trying different set-ups, you may want to try the 30g wire, it produces a little better flavor. good luck

it would be nice if we could get some fc wicks a little longer for the ac-9, 1- 3/4 would be perfect. although the standard ceramic wick is a little short they do work pretty good, just try to keep them a low as possible when coiling. the only downfall of the shorter wick is that you have to refill more often, for the ceramic wicks dont perform as good under a half tank.
