Actually, a ProVari kit is $212.95, but personally I think it's kind of overkill for a beginner just testing the waters. Obviously, I think it's a fabulous device, but for beginners I always recommend they get a solid mid-priced battery and spend the majority of their budget on different styles of toppers and juice.

Agreed, that's the path I took, having a nice mod is one thing, but there is so much variety of juice out there.

The budget was for one month alternative to ciggies and this is "all in", meaning batteries, charger, mod, atty and a months supply of juice...

But anyways, I do think the budget i placed was well worth it, certainly more fun than smoking. Maybe I will get the provari next month :D

What would you recommend as the best Vaporizer, Mod, Tank, etc. for a beginner?

I don't need anything as fancy as a Provari (at least not yet lol).

I'm just looking for something more powerful than a cig a like that produces good tasting, consistent vapor and something that is easy to maintain and use.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

I have looked at some already, such as those on the VaporFi site. There are so many people here that have a lot more experience than me though, so thought I'd ask.

Thanks in advance. :)

If you're sure you're ready to quit and vaping is the way you're going to do it....I would recommend something for a beginner like a an ego v. The reason why, it has a pass through charging feature so you can vape and charge the battery through a USB port which most 510 vape pens can't do and the charger is more reliable and if it breaks you can use one of your own and find a micro usb cord almost anywhere even at some gas stations and convenient stores. The ego v also shows an estimate of your battery and you can adjust your voltage level to increase or decrease the strength of the hit and find the best vape depending on the coils used and e juice.

at the bare minimum, would recommend a Innokin VV V3 or MVP 2, team either up with an Aspire tank system, or some of those new SS Aero tank systems, and you have a great introductory vape package, to intermediate vapor.

That would be for checking things out, and giving vape a valid shot. If one was getting their first vape gear, looking to continue vaping for the foreseeable future, then would recommend the 30 watt china box mod clone, that looks like a Hana mod. team that up with a Sony VTC5 batt, and you'll have a mod that will allow one to grow to a very solid vape. Max out a 30, and you'll know where you're headed. Don't like box mods? No prob, they make tubes too, the 7 or new Vamo, think both have the clone30 in them.

Start that out with the same atty as the bare minimum, then once you have everything dialed in, and if you yearn for more, then can look into ones first rba. By this time you should be more aware of what path is more to your liking, tanks or drippers. Building either, is relatively the same, wicking tanks can be a bit more precious but both will take you to wherever your vape desires.

Vape is progressive, have to start out on the bunny hill before getting on the chair lift. One has to know how to fall correctly or one can break a leg, or something like that.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

I wanted to thank everyone who responded to this. After spending time reading, reviewing, and thinking about it, I ended up going with a 1600 VV Battery and a Nautilus Mini Tank.

My first juice in the tank was Bounty Hunter from NiteLite Vapor. (another forum recommendation)

I've had a very enjoyable vaping afternoon.

I did look at the Innokin MVP but at this point, wanted something a little smaller/less boxy. It is a very good battery though.

I really want to thank everyone who responded. I looked at each response and the products mentioned and did a lot of comparisons. I'm not sure if I made the best choice, but I am happy with it and enjoying it.

And enjoying the vape is what it's all about right?
