Hi guys,

ihave had a number of ego twist batterys die on me so have friends many not even lasting a month due to centre pin issues. So ive decided not to get any more twist. What would you guys recommend from here. Ive looked at itaste and the vision battery but think the vision battery will be the same, What would you suggest not really interested in mods.

Freeo, I have had 3 twists for a few months with no issues. I also have 2 eGo batts, a KGO VV and 2 LavaTubes with no issues. Even after dropping more of them than I care to think of and doing a real number to one of the LT's  .

Now, I have had center pins push in too far on all of them occasionally. It's really easy to fix with a small eye-glasses screwdriver or some such device. Just turn the battery off and gently pry the center pin up a small bit at a time and from different sides, working around it a couple of times. It's always worked for me. I now do not tighten anything onto the battery more than necessary to get electrical contact.

If you are having different issues than this, let us know and maybe someone else will have experience with it. Of all my devices, I can't think of one that is better at this than the other and do not know af any others out there that might be tougher. Especially if you discount the mods.

The Provari. But it's not cheap. There is a new contender the Zmax V2 that has a wattage adjustment as apposed to adjusting voltage. But if you go with the Zmax make sure it is V2 and has 8 items on the menu and not 7 as 7 is the first one. The first was not accurate. So if money is not a big concern then either of these. I have the Provari and it is damn tough.
Drawbacks are that both are big. The Provari has a mini version but it's not all that much smaller and you have to use a smaller battery which means shorter battery life.
