Best VV or VW...my provari is going strong on 18 plus months. So far my favorite.

I second (or 3rd or 4th) the idea of a Provari,,,,,you probably already have the batteries needed and the charger from your vamo. (but double check)
if you can't do that extra $$, my recommendation is an MVP 2.0,,,,,,,,I bought one at 101vape for 40 bucks (plus 2.99 shipping) and it's a tank,,,,,,I ordered on thursday and it got here saturday,,,,,,,,,as someone said, they are restocking on tuesday.
the only thing about the MPV,,,,,,,,,,the battery is not replaceable,,,,,,,so after a year or so,,,,,it's trash.

Semovar looks very, very good. Excellent features, nice look, good early reports. I am impressed with what I have seen...BUT, as a new device there are questions that cannot be answered until it is on the market for a while.

Only time will answer these questions. If the OP wants a super-reliable mod right now that will come with service for life from the best customer service in the industry, and a proven mod that is super accurate, easy to maintain, and a proven vape engine.
It has to be a ProVari.
100% agreed There are several posts suggesting a Provari so I thought Id throw out a Semovar as an option also. I should also add anything with a DNA 20 in it is a great VW mod. So far any of the limited production models Ive seen have been made pretty well again your not going to find one for 50$ but the OPs post said best.

One more thing on that note while I take my Provari to work most everyday I wont put my Semovar threw that kind of abuse so I personally will never know if its as rugged as a Provari. I can send the Provari back to the shop and spend less than a 100$ to get it fixed but there so far is not a Semi repair in the states yet.
With a warranty and a little higher than your initial range, probably a Provari. That said, after a couple months of the wife and I using eGo's, we did splurge on purchased Tesla mods but we don't have the warranty option but also spent a lot less. Very easy to use, VV and VW. Some think it has the buttons placed wrongly (above the screen) but I disagree b/c once you find a good setting - lock the wattage and go, no need to mess with them. Easy to read screen as well. Just another option....
I have enjoyed by Evic that I purchased about two months ago. Really love it now that I have placed a Kayfun lite on top of it.
The only problem I have seen with the Evic is the 510 threads are a somewhat weak point. I have solved that problem with an air flow controller I purchased from EVcigarettes.com for $3.59. It screws on the Evic 510 threads and then the tank 510 threads screw into it.
When you remove the tank, it unscrews from the air flow controller which is made of SS. This way the 510 threads on the Evic are never used again. I do not use the air flow controller for air control.

You can replace them...there are actually two LiPo (Lithium Polymer) batteries inside of it soldered in parallel, just have to find the same batteries when they start getting weak and know how to solder

I ordered a bolt and a kick from FT [for $21.42]...shipped (maybe) gonna get me some efest 18500's and see what all the hub bub is about

I really can't justify it right now - with Christmas coming up and various other expenses looming, it'll be a month or two. (Besides, I have to leave something for my sons to get me for Christmas.

The most bang for you buck is going to be the MVP2. Spend the $40 today and start vaping. Spend the time researching the others and save up for that Provari if you decide you want that. You can get a blemished one on occasion from Provape in the $140 to $160 range with the full one year warranty. Take you time and do your research. But you can not go wrong for now with the MVP2.
I would avoud the bolt, no lock out for the fire button.
if it was me going this route it would be the nemesis clone from FT the kick from super t and plenty left over for a handful of fasttech attys

Before getting a mech mod, it's very important to do homework. Read the rechargeable batteries page, Baditude's blogs, read up on mechanical mod safety, watch some videos on mechanical maintenance, own a multimeter and use it to regularly test batteries, atomizers, and mod. Remember, with a mech mod, the user is the only safety feature, so it's not always the best route for newbies. If anyone's going to do it, do it very carefully.
