NEVER dry burn an atty. It's incredibly unhealthy for them. Atomizers were not made to be run dry, dry burning regularly significantly reduces life span.
Some might disagree with my methods but they're totally wrong because ALL of my atomizers are extremely healthy and I haven't had one die on me, with continuous heavy use for over 5 months now.
With that said-
Take the atomizer (LR) and blow out allll of the
juice from it, blowing from the threaded battery end.
After that, take a paper towel and twist it on it's corner to create a pointy wad, stick that inside the atomizer and rotate.
After this, run your atty under trickling *hot* water from both ends, blowing out the water once every 2 minutes for 10 minutes.
After this, make the water lukewarm and the faucet on full blast, repeat blowing the water out from both ends every 1 minute for 5 minutes.
That's it for the rinsing. Now blow all of the excess water out and make sure to be thorough. Use the paper towel (twist it again) and rotate inside the atomizer to soak up any excess water.
This next part is optional.
I always put my atty in front of a blowdryer on "cold" air setting for 5 minutes. Just to make sure all of the water gets dried up. I have used attys after this process without the blowdrying and they have worked fine.
The cleaning process is now done. But your atomizer will NOT be ready to use a CART. Now what needs to be done is add 2 drops directly on the wick/bridge area and let sit for 1 minute. Repeat this until 10 drops have been added right on the wick. You are now ready to vape.
This is what has kept my attys in amazing condition, and not even ONE of my attys has died in 5 months of
vaping. So to those saying cleaning kills atomizers- you're dead wrong and you are obviously either being too rough on your atomizers or cleaning them with things you shouldn't be cleaning it with. There is no reason why a proper cleaning would kill an atomizer.
