Hey guys ordered my nemesis last night from vaperev got a vw edition

Was wondering what is the best way to clean the contacts and the tubing/body

I used silver polish on my brass chi you clone and the brass plating is now coming off my chi you clone probably because I used silver polish lol

So I'm worried the silver plating is going to come off of my nemesis

Thanks guys for any replies back

The silver or rhodium plated contacts on any mod should be wiped off gently with a soft cotton cloth with a bit of rubbing alcohol or water. I use old cotton T-Shirts or cotton diapers.

well with the nemi is whatever metal it says it is, they arent plated with anything so mostly SS for the vw.

the only silver plating will be on the contacts inside. I use a pencil eraser a quick rub and clean or iso alc on a qtip

the actual mod itself shouldnt really need much cleaning as its SS. I wipe my mods with a cotton cloth and alc to get finger grease off thats about it.

direct from vaperrev on the VW page:
Tips & Tricks-

Clean your contacts when any oxidation occurs, which isn’t uncommon with silver contacts. It will look like black specs on your contacts. Gently wipe away with a soft cloth, and water if necessary. You never want to use any chemicals or polish when cleaning silver plated contacts, as it will start removing the plating.
