Hello all,

So I've just sold my Turtleship mod, and I've been eyeing the Chi-You, Nemesis, and now the King.
My local vape shop is doing pre-orders on the brass Chi-You, but another shop has the brass King in stock at the moment.
SO, my questions are, how would the King compare to the Chi-You and Nemesis if I was to get the brass one, and would the brass hit a lot harder than the SS one, would you recommend coating the copper contacts in silver?
I like the style of the Chi-You and King, but I heard the Nemesis hits harder than both of them. Can anyone confirm?
Also, I noticed a lot of King clones floating around, and would definitely hate to find out I purchased a clone when I drop the money... so is there any other way to tel the difference between the King clone and the real deal? (I'm guessing the clone doesn't come with the authenticity tag).

Thanks all!

how one compares to another is minimal at best, and will depend more on how you set them up. dial in the right resistance and almost any mechanical will perform well.

if I build a coil around .2 ohms lower then my poldiac would use and put it on the cheap 30 dollar natural i got laying around you will swear its better.

the only real time to worry about performance is some of the really horrible cheap ones where there is a massive voltage drop. or you are using high resistance where you need to squeeze every last .1 volt just to get an ok vape for 2 hours.

but for well made ones a few points here and there isnt going to make a huge difference.I mean really, you think anyone can tell the difference between 22.3 watts and 23.1?

as long as your considering a well made mod VS another well made mod i would get what interests me and pay more attention to what i plan to put on it.

I usually try to build my coils around .8 ohms, and I've been using a Patriot atomizer. But in the end, what you're saying is, the 3 are all good mods and it's really personal preference in terms of build quality and stuff?

pretty much, at .8 ohms they will all work fine , and the only real way you could notice one is better then the other is to try all 3 at the same time with the same atty. i highly doubt running a low ohm setup you will go "man this mod sucks for output" remember just cause one may hit harder in testing doesnt mean the others are suddenly terrible.

reminds me of the enthusiast people with the video cards for pc "ohh this new one came out and its 2% more powerful gotta have it" doesnt mean the other one is unusable now.

Im already an atmomixani fan so it would be the nemesis for me. lol

as for the clone VS real ? cant really help there as I only go to well known dealers or manufacturer direct when i buy high end stuff like this.

The King clone has very light engraving for the logos and the serial number. The clone's finish won't line up on the tubes either. The real King has a finish that lines up on all three tube sections for the Kings I have inspected closely. I have the King with the knurled knobs and my nemesis clone with silver plated contacts hits a lil bit harder, even when I've just cleaned the copper contacts on my King. Surefire is planning to release silver pins for the King soon, or so I hear.

My brass King mod is the hardest hitting mod I have.

(Out of Mirandus, SS King, Brass King, Sentinel V3, Chi You)
Yep, and the nemesis clone hits a bit harder than any King I've tried, so far. I'm enthusiastic about getting the silver contacts kit for the King when they come out.

what do you mean finish? like the tubes all fit together super smooth as you can't really tell the tubes apart? in other words better craftsmanship?
