I've tested like every single way I've heard of to mark the carts/cartos. The best I've found is oil based sharpie pens. They work PERFECTLY. And there are a lot of colors! Here is the link:

Sharpie® | All Products)

For some reason the link wont take you to the specific product... Just look for oil-based extra fine marker. Its near the bottom of the page on the far right.

Because carts come in black or white, I've read some place a dot of colored nail polish on it, then associate the color dot with the flavor.
Since you can find carto's in a variety of colors, you can pick the carto color to match your flavor; brown for chocolate, coffee flavors, etc.
You can make your own carto covers with vinyl paper, then you can print any design you'd like.
Frankly I don't care for the rubber band coding, it gets in my way, the carts don't fit properly in my holders, and they don't make enough colors for me. I don't even like the idea of mixing several rubber bands on one cart to identify it. Others swear this is the best way.
I'm hoping someone will make thin multi colored condoms that fit the entire carto; slip them on and off and reuse.
I guess you can use a marker then cover it with a thin coat of clear nail polish; that will keep the marker from rubbing off?
For those who love bling, what about fixing a tiny single rhinestone onto your cart or carto then sealing it with clear nail polish.
I'm going to look for the oil base Sharpies and give them a try.

Hey G,
Where are you finding the "oil based" Sharpies?

I got mine at michaels. They have like 23432 colors and you can buy them for like a dollor a pen. If you dont have a michaels I would try a local craft store, or amazon.com.

or do you mean where can you view them on the website?

nailpolish smells, wears off, looks ugly, and is not the cheapest. I've tried everything you mentioned there except for the vinyl covers and oil bases sharpies are BY FAR the best. Trust me :)

I just put a couple small initials like FV (french vanilla) on the mouth end of a carto so that when its in the pcc it is viewable. They never come off unless scrapped off, they are easily appliable and visible, they are completed customizable (sometimes i write notes on cartos im testing) and they are cheap!

This isn't exactly a color-coded method, but this works for me to keep them all seperated:

I have a box with five sections that perfectly fit 10ml bottles, and it's a smaller box, so I can carry it around easily. I just put each corresponding cart with each bottle of juice. Then the flavor I'm using I turn the bottle the opposite way of the other bottles as a reminder of what flavor/cart is being used :) (sometimes I have atomizers attached to the carts, too :vapor:)

I was never able to find colored dental rubber bands for braces. I did find colored rubber bands in the hair care section of Wal-Mart. They came in a box with 3 different sizes, the small ones fit nicely on 510 carts and the larger ones I use on bottles.

Here's a picture showing some of my carts:

@smokingbullet marking the 'condoms' is a great idea... this way if you happen to change flavor in a particualar carto you can move that corresponding condom to that carto.

This will also leave your cartos exterior at it's 'virgin' state which is good since you put your lips around it

I of course don't label because I don't mind mixing the flavors I use :D

Side: This post can totally be read wrong.... shame on you :p :D
