I want to use my old AGAT2 top cap on a different base and I don't want the air hole in the side of the cap anymore. Would solder work well enough to plug it up or is there something else that's better / easier.
yup.. there will be a lot of haters for your answer ...But hey if it works why knock it., its a easy & a fast fix... I use a little square of electrical tape on my rm2 and it doesn't leak like some of the bands you can make, it never got hot cus its the opposite side from my coil and no one can really see it cus its always facing me ..Dam haters get lost
sweet. great to know! So if I wanted to replicate this setup, could I just get the base from GP and a cap ? there's no details on what's included in the base...
So Scotch tape or electrical tape works to cover up air holes. I have a igo w, and I had the airhole drilled out and they are WAY to big for me. TOO much air coming in. Will the tape get hot and melt?
