I own an Inferno T from Vocano, it works pretty solid (less one bad atty), but I really wanted to know the difference between it and the Joye eGo t model. So I sent an email directly to joyetech. Short story... Just as everyone said.. Ego and inferno both come from joyetech. Best way to verify a vendor is by emailing info@joyetech.com like I did.

This email also confirms Cignot.com has real Ego-t (good, I already ordered another from here).

This is the email thread...

Hello Vicky,

I live in Hawaii, USA. Any order I make will be on line. Thank you for your quick answers. I was considering an order from Cignot.com

Respectfully,
Antxxxxx

How can I tell, as a consumer, that I am purchasing genuine joyetech equipment? Is there a list of online distributors/ vendors that you can present? A quick google search for Ego-t comes back with hundreds of hits, just want to be sure.

Very respectfully,
Antxxxxx

Could you put their e-mail address on here. I have tried mailing them at the e-mail address you gave here and the e-maill keeps on being returned as an error They keep saying that the e-mail host cannot be found. I s the e-mail address you have here the right one? If it is I cannot understand why the mail keeps being returned to me.

Posting the info you get from them is fine, with the understanding it may not be entirely accurate...they're a manufacturer, it's really not their job to keep up with that stuff.

Secondly, they probably don't need (or want) to have hundreds of people emailing them asking them the same thing over and over...so if one person posts their response, that should be good enough.

Cignot, based on my experience with multiple orders over a year's time, has been upfront, true to their word, and solid in terms of sending what they picture and describe, as well as standing behind the product. Trust develops with time and I certainly trust Vicki and Cignot to treat me right.

Plus they do seem to have the most up to date and latest versions of stuff right away, while others may still be selling the older versions.
