Beta-e-cig-forum, whats going on?

I am finding this new beta.e-cig-forum.com thing is really screwing with my browser, especially the past couple of days. It will be running fine one minute then the next it starts hanging up and really slows my whole pc down then it goes to the Gateway thing then goes to oooops can't find that page and then I start all over again and it works one minute then does the same thing over again. What's up with that and will it be fixed soon?

I think you are not the only one. I have noticed the same 'bogging' way down. Mostly, after 1:00 pm and 10:00 pm. Most of the time, I just exit my browser, do something for a while and come back.

I think it might have to do with them working on the new CMS section.
Either that or they're just messing with our minds. lol.

voltaire, I'm not sure what's going on that's why I was hoping a mod or someone would come by and explain to me what the problem is or if my pc is going bonkers. It gets very frustrating especially the past 2 days.

The backup currently occurs @ 1:00am EDT. You will notice the site get slow or get completely kicked off around that time. We are currently working on changing that time so as to impact fewer members during "prime time"

Now that you mention it, El. Notsoogood lives on the West Coast and she wanted to complain about it, since it is 10:00 p.m. her time.

That's weird because it was happening on and off all day for me. I guess if it gets too frustrating I should find something else to do. Might not be a bad idea to spend more time being productive around my home.

Would that be something to do with my browser? When I click to go to another part of the forum, it goes to the Bad Gateway then switches to the link above.

Or you could not use the beta until the issue can be looked at. You can access the forum via the regular www address.
