Better 14500, or alternative, on the horizon?

When I first got my Reos, Grand & Mini, I was all about the mini. It seemed to hit just about as well as the Grand, and it was small enough to be portable. I also prefer the ergonomics of my mini, even though I do not have small hands. The only problem I have with my mini, is the charge-life of the 14500. The way I smoke it, I seem to go through 2-3 batts, for every 3ml bottle. I'd be delighted if the mah rating of my 14500 batts was increased a bit. My goal with my Reos was to have something that I could carry around, by itself, without a bunch of accessories & such. The Grand gives me just that, but it's bulky.

So, any word on 14500s with bigger mah ratings? I'm currently running AW IMR 14500 batts. I know that these are the recommended batt, but I really wish they lasted longer. Also, if any of y'all have tips for extending batt life, that would be helpful.

And I do still love my Mini, BTW. But I'm now glad I have a Grand, too.

Redilast (Which is every bit as good as AW) is comming out with a new 14500 battery, don't know all the specs yet but here's the thread where I was discussing it with the vendor...

That's good news... Can't wait to see if they help...

Also, when I first started using the AW IMR's, I had the same experience, BUT after all of my batteries had gone through multiple recharge cycles, they started lasting longer.

Thanks for that, I hope you're right!
