so far i've only tried 70pg/30vg and a 50/50 sampler pack. spinner with mini protank @ 1.8 and 2.4. what's my next step? dual coil clearo? carto? tell me what to buy. thanks.

I would give the Aspire Vivi Nova BDC Tank, the are inexpensive and have high reviews. It's that or step up to an rba and do your own builds, get a good tube mod or mech and look into DIY juice so you can customize your own recipe.
yeah not into building yet. I guess I should get on that. the aspire BDC looks sweet, PBusardo approved.

If you're not into building, iClear 30 is a nice dual-coil unit.
From personal experience: I would avoid the iClear 30. I bought one from Innokin and the base threads stripped out the 3rd time I screwed it down, only to learn that they were shipping defective units and forcing their consumers to buy a replacement. Aside from the thread defects, there's very little flavor due to the excessive amounts of wick which also cause constant dry hits using 70pg/30vg and letting it soak for four hours before first use. I would suggest the KangerTech ProTank II, and buy some 1.8Ω Evod replacement heads for it. Every hit I've taken from the ProTank II has been completely full of flavor, and you can actually choose which drip tip you want to use with it, whereas the iClear has a proprietary screw in style tip.
The iclear 30 WILL give you major throat hit, however I don't really like it because it makes all of my juices taste like chemicals. It is because of all of the wicks. When I switched to the Protank 2, I still got good throat hit AND I was actually able to taste the flavor of the juice. The Protank gives good throat hit but it is milder than the iclear. However I know many people who really like the harshness of the iclear 30.
