Buyer beware. Smoketip is set up to lock you into a consistent and eternal flow of ordering from them. batteries are apparently designed to go bad after 60 days; chargers at 90. They push "lifetime warranty" on batteries but they will only honor that "warranty" if you're buying more product. Otherwise, to RMA a battery is the same price as a new battery which is insane. They figure most people will simply cave and order more product. I personally am dumping them; this is the lowest, most shoddy way of doing business and you cannot trust a company that works like this. Think "used car salesman in a pinstripe suit." That's my experience of Smoketip. I personally was ordering refill cartridges from Magic Mist; their shipping is phenomenally prompt and their prices were better, but I no longer need any new cartridges since I'm now refilling them with my own custom mix and have over a hundred cartridges. Smoketip is not engaging in any false advertising - they are clear on their site about there being no "warranty" unless you keep ordering from them - but the product has a very short life, I'm quite sure that's by design. The best way to escape their having you over a barrel is to never use them in the first place.

Isn't that the way those types of batteries work? You get about 300 cycles out of them, charging it several times a day chews into that fast.

Forget the battery, why not mention how expensive the cartridges are? That's why they are throwing in free batteries.

Magic Mist batteries seem to be the same at low end 190 mah vs 180 mah, don't think they will be much different.

It is no different than printer companies, the money is in the liquid, the hardware is throw away.
