Still trying to get a good build on my taifun gs. I take short puffs, like a choo choo train. No lung hits. Kills batteries and burns wicks. Silica and eco wool so small diameter for it and it can't wick fast enough. the rayon cellucotton is hard to work with in it because of how fluffy it is, regular cotton burns by puff 3 or 4 so needless to say... it is still a work in progress and I am still using my v tox tanks and the aerotank

I wish I could help Joan, but I have the GT. I understand it's much easier to get right than the GS. I still haven't found the sweet spot on mine about leaking, but at least I can use it. I hope you can get an answer to your problem. There is a thread for the Taifun GT on ECF, maybe there is one for the GS as well???

I was watching all kinds of videos on making my own wicks/coils last night. It looks super easy! I have my first RDA ordered and on the way. Also I was absolutely amazed what you can turn a protank into producing! I have my super anticipated MVP on the way so I have an ohms reader now. Just need to get some kanthal and cotton! It is really as easy as it looks? After watching youtube I found alot of tricks that makes it easier. The thing I really don't get yet is what determines the amount of ohms you get? Is that due to the different sizes of wire? Hmmm Im exited to try this! :)

size of wire and/or length of wire/number of wraps determines the ohms.running single or duel coils can stump ya as single coils with say 30 gauge @ say a 5/4 wrap can give ya 1.8 ohms(approx) if running a duel with same wraps and gauge split that down to about a 0.9 ohms, you're troddin in the sub ohm territory now.If this makes sense. Also with mechs there is no way to check battery voltage unless ya use a mutimeter or stick it in a VV device to check battery voltage. One way to tell, for me is when a battery is how the clouds of vapor get less and less so I replace the battery. It really isn't all that hard and is quite fun to make your own coils.

I see camaro beat me to it...good stuff he says

Ya might be getting your ewool/cotton and other stuff too tight in the coils therfore it won't wick up.Try making the wicks just fit in the coils where ya can slide em back and forth with "some" resistance back and forth but not enough to be hard to move.It could be that you're just choking the wicks AT the coils. Are ya using SS mesh at all.?

I have had days where it took awhile for me to find what I wanted to vape at the time but seems if I just brushed teeth, some juices don't satisfy for awhile so I either wait it out or eat something salty and that generally does it for me.

RR.... I went thru that yesterday too and just finished changing coils in all of the tanks

After my previous post regarding my new comfort level with rebuilding, I saw a youtube video about the subject which gave me an idea on how to build my Kayfun a little better. I was kind of excited about it so even though I'd just filled the tank, I decided to give it a try. The details are unimportant, but the thing that completely blew me away was that I emptied the tank, rebuilt, rewicked, refilled and was back to vaping in the neighborhood of five to ten minutes. It usually takes me an hour (due to multiple rebuilds and/or multiple attempts at wicking). The other night it only took half an hour, which is why I posted about being more confident about rebuilding. But I've learned a few things about the Kayfun recently that helped me focus on particular goals, which I think is why it went so much faster this time. Not bragging or anything, just excited to finally reach a level of understanding that makes the build go so much smoother and work exactly the way I want it to without having to go back and redo it two or three times. All these pieces of the puzzle came together with that one video, and it was like a glowing microcoil (as opposed to a light bulb) lit up above my head and all the little problems I was having were solved at once.

Good morning everyone. Do you ever have those days where no ejuice seems to be your cup of tea? I'm having one of those today.
I mean I have some very fine juices but they all make me wanna hurl this morning

Yup but I slaughter a slug with salt on the alter of the gods to set things right in the world again.
