I wonder if the vets don't seem to win as often simply because there are more and more new people joining ECF and participating in those contests every day. It's just a matter of population statistics. If a thousand people play but only ten percent of those people are vapers who've been around for more than a couple years, then yes, the chances are vastly in favor of newer members. Also, I think it increases the chance that a new member will become a vet if they win a contest or two. A sense of accomplishment and reward can go a long way towards encouraging a broader participation.

Some of us just have very good luck with contests and drawings.
I enjoy the contest and the tidbits of information that can be picked up during them.
Do you determine being a "vet" by post number or join date?
I see some users with 2014 join dates but post counts in the mid thousands.

Picked up the orchid v1 recently and this tank is awesome. I've been dripping exclusively for over 9 months and I haven't used the Dripper in 2 days. It really is that good. I've ordered a v2 and v3. V4 will be next week along with a fogger v4.1. Rta's were just a thought of convenienceand turns out as long as the draw is super airy I love them.

11/3 Not sure if I'm getting vapemail today or not, I have some that might be here today. I have lots of vapemail coming this week.
Can't wait to get my Istick, going to shop for a pretty wrap for it today since I didn't get the color I wanted.

I've been one of the lucky newbs. I have also made similar observations. I never won anything before ECF. At first, I thought it was pure luck, but then I started to wonder if it might be a way to reward/encourage newbs and/or we're just so excited that we spend all of our waking time here, which increases our odds of winning.
I can also see how my participation might dwindle as I become more knowledgable and/or the novelty wears off. 11/3

However, I finally quit smoking, so that's something.

I'm doing things backwards but then again that's cuz atm I have some extra spending money....when i started vaping I made it very clear to myself that this was only to be for stop smoking and save money! Now 2 1/2 years later (1 1/2 smoke free) I'm branching out and trying new and different things....I've never been a window browser and certainly not a shopper
but with vaping I now understand the appeal 
but I do have to agree....but that is the natural progress of things....you finally find the set up that makes you happy and if you are lucky find that holy grail of an ADV.....

When I smoked, the place I got my cigarettes was called smoker friendly and you could smoke in the store. Ran errands for mom yesterday and the sign out front now says Vape Lounge...I know the last time I was in there that they had as many vape items as smoking items... the alcohol items seem to have remained the same... but to see the vape lounge there, surprised me.

Vapemail arriving this week....could be today...some doesn't have tracking......I have a truck load of ADV coming this week......and I am looking forward to the Thanksgiving sales..........I even saved some of my vape allowance for them.........
