How weird...my power was out for no apparent reason, when I woke up this morning. I don't know for how long it was out, but it came on about 15 mins later. Thank goodness.

It is good to have you back Kath!!! Went through that stuff when we had the big wind and then Sandy... out over a week the first time and then several smaller outages before Sandy so we bought a generator... had it through Sandy. but was thinking about it and even without power, we still have water. Went almost a month this year without water and that was worse for me than no electric... prefer to have both though. May be different now that I have to think about charging my e mechs and the like. I made juices last evening, not to wait for them to steep... still working on the blueberry I want that tastes like blueberry pie filling.

I think we need a generator too, Joan. Three days isn't the longest we've been without power, but it was awful. I missed the water a lot too. Had to melt snow to flush the toilet, and couldn't have coffee much, because we only had one jug of bottled water. Then there was all that food in the freezer.

Got more DIY flavors yesterday. Right now, I'm making some flavorless juices taste better.

Surgery for extracting 4 wisdom teeth is scheduled.
Anybody know whether vaping is okay during the 4 hour fasting period before surgery?

Glad to see you back Kathi. You know, just ask Joan and some friends of mine. Once you buy a whole house generator, you will never need it again. Now a smaller one, yes, it just teases Mother Nature and she will see how long it will last. Go all the way of stay in the dark. laughs....

11/5 Got one package in today, only 9 more to go. Placed an order last night for that malibu rum flavor I tried yesterday and fell in love with. I vaped a whole 5ml sample bottle of it yesterday and that's unheard of for me. I change flavors constantly.

I hear ya. It's so nice now not to have to go outside in all kinds of weather just to get my fix. Should have seen me when Sandy hit us....ROFL Outside like a fool smoking.

I too love not having to go outside! Vaping inside rocks!
I used to go outside in bad storms to smoke....lol....one time the wind so insane and there I was huddled in the corner of the porch smoking! Haha No more of that!
I never smoked in my house..... So many cold days and nights smoking outside......

Had to take my son to the doctor today, scheduled for emergency surgery tomorrow morning 6am. It was a heavy vape day, wanted a cigarette real bad but didn't give in. Tomorrow will be a tough day too, I could use some good luck

Not sure about before....after surgery vaping, smoking and drinking straws are expressly forbidden.....

I had one taken out last week and of course as soon as I got out I got an iced cappuccino and started vaping. And it healed amazingly fast. Before when I smoked they would take forever to heal and were a lot more painful. So prolly skip the straws but I don't think vaping will cause too much of an issue. Just don't pull hard! Good luck!
