Happy Mothers Day to all the momma's here. I've had a great Mother's Day with my daughter and husband. I left my vape gear at home while we went out today, and it didn't bother me at all not having it. So glad I don't crave with vaping, like I did with cigs.

Oh bella, I was just thinking about that! I took notice just yesterday that my daily trip to the store is made without my vape; but back when I smoked, I would never leave the house without at least half a pack of cigarettes and a lighter on me. I mean, you never know who you might run into and get into a conversation, and need a cigarette, right? And, I used to worry about making sure my battery and tank were both full before leaving to visit a friend. Now I just grab whatever I'm vaping and pay little attention to levels or fresh batteries. The idea of being stuck without a vape for a couple hours doesn't send me into a full blown panic attack like running out of smokes did. I just can't see myself wandering around down town at 3 am, looking for an all night vape shop. But I've done that for ciggies, oh yes.

There is so much call for more testing. Not enough proof. These are the type of statements which prove a point with common sense. Nicotine is different in electronic cigarette usage and less addictive. The same goes for the general benefits. Does it take million dollar studies to come to a conclusion that something with some 4,000 less chemicals is safer than than a substance containing them? Excellent observation!

Hope you regain your taste, Robin. I hear that some peppermint or menthol vapes can also help.
Thanks, I can't stand either of those, so good thing my taste came back! ;) Turns out, I also had some BAD brand new coils.

I'm still at that stage where I'll return to the house after I've left to get my vape... even if I'm only walking down the driveway to the mailbox.
Same here!
Even though I'm still at that stage, there HAVE been a couple times, I didn't vape while running a quick errand.

I'm still at that stage too. But I do surprise myself when I get home and realize that I didn't reach for my vape during the whole trip!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Maine doesn't put their big tax on juice and vaping stuff this afternoon. I sent a really good email to them all, but I doubt they will care. Money is much more important than quitting smoking you know. :(

I can for for fairly long periods (6-8 hours) without a vape sometimes, but I do find that I still succumb to certain triggers. For example, I had to take someone to the airport yesterday and, out of respect, I don't vape when I have passengers in the car. While dropping him off at the curb, I noticed someone taking a hit off of an eGrip. I was only pulling his baggage out from the trunk and had seconds to get in the car, but part of my brain still couldn't wait to get back behind the wheel and pull out my vape.

I can relate to what you said in your post 100%. When I smoked I never left the house without cigarettes, and if I did I went into full panic. If I ran out of cigarettes I would go get them immediately even if it was 2 in the morning.... The panic attacks that I would have were awful. One night I accidently left my purse at work and my cigarettes were in it, and I called my manager and begged her to meet me back down there to get my stuff and I made my bf take me down to meet her. I did not have anything really in my purse....except my cigarettes......if they were not in the purse I would not have went back for it. It is almost embarrassing.....
Now, I like to take my ecig with me, but the times I forget it I do not panic :)

I have a really tough weekend coming up .... The whole weekend with my grandkids and they will ask too many questions if they see me vaping....so I am trying to figure out how I will do this. It is so much harder when I watch them at their house. I still need my nicotine so not vaping all weekend is not an option!
