The new copper Derringer clone is great. It suffers from the same crazy-long 510 pin that the other ones do, but that's okay I guess. It just makes the 510 connection really deep on the mod, making it impossible to check the battery's output voltage on my little meter. I need some kind of extension for the positive pin, which I may be able to McGuyver at some point. The current solution (pun intended) is to just change the batteries every morning.
Anyway the Derringer looks sweet on the Shotgun, as I figured it would. The only problem I can see now is that my Shotgun is clear coated to prevent tarnishing, while the cap of the Derringer is not. I've had it less than 24 hours and the entire atty is already a few noticeable shades darker. The other downside is that the long pin forced me to completely redo all the mods I made to the switch, but the results were actually better than my previous version so that's okay.
